Amazing place with the rudest staff. It is a shame that they do not know to treat clients well. Specially the lady with long blond hair at the cashier. She shouldn't be working there. My partner took me to see a $2000 fountain and of course I will never allow him to buy it in this place.

Flamingo Road Nursery is much more than an excellent place to purchase all your landscaping supplies, flowering trees and plants, pottery and such! This business reached out to the community, during the pandemic, encouraging us to come with our masks on to walk, view the flowers and butterflies, and enjoy the serenity of nature, with no obligation to buy items. Since I love this place anyway, I went several times to soak in the sun and fresh air among the vibrant blooms and whimsical sculptures. It was a welcome diversion during our worse Covid days. Of course, I did add some orchids to my collection—they are all from Flamingo Road Nursery, and my basil and rosemary plants are full and beautiful! I need to expand my herb garden, so we will make a trip this weekend! In addition to plants, they have a diverse array of gardening items, pots, wind chimes, all of which make great holiday gifts for your gardening enthusiasts. I love this establishment and thank them for all they do for our community. Don’t forget the Farmer’s Market and restaurant! Great sandwiches and pastries!

I really love this place. But I’m concerned about your commitment to monarchs. I’m a frequent customer of Flamingo Nursery; however, this is the 2nd time I’ve purchased milkweed from you where my monarch caterpillars died from pesticide exposure. Some of them secreted green liquid after eating your milkweed (they were thriving before with my previous plants), and some failed to form a proper chrysalis. These are signs of pesticide ingestion. If you guys are trying to advocate for monarchs, you need to have stronger quality control and integrity with your milkweed. I’ve been raising monarchs for many years and most of the time your milkweed is clean, with mites on them (a sign there was no pesticide used). This time, I couldn’t find any mites on any plants, and had to trust that it would be safe. Sadly, it wasn’t… again. Please please talk with your employees and your growers to make triple sure that absolutely no pesticide, even organic, will be used on your milkweed! It’s impossible to find safe milkweed anywhere else. Who knows how many others purchased this batch and killed their monarchs in the process. Edited to add: I’m now also noticing that there are colored fertilizer beads in the soil. This could also pose risks to monarchs. Please do better. ??

If you like plants then this is your place to go. They have lots of rare house plants including the pink and white princess philos! They also have everything you could possibly need for plants and gardening. You could spend hours here looking at plants all while having a delicious smoothie. This is my happy place

I brought my mother here and she enjoyed it. Took home a guava tree and two flowers. They have a great variety of flowers, fruit trees, palms, and garden supplies.

Wow! So glad my friend introduced me to this Davie wonder. Something for all budgets and a stellar place for gifts, not just plants. Annuals are just $1.99 and herbs only $3.50. Plus the cafe offers delicious empanadas and other things. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.

I’ve had a few good experiences here. The place is beautiful, the cafe employees are nice, and cashiers have been nice. Talk to anyone else, like a manager or a male employee and they’re going to be rude and condescending. I left with tears in my eyes because of them. I will happily never come here again.

This place is arguably the best nursery in South Florida. The collection and stock is heads above any nursery I have evet visited. The staff is knowledgeable and the grounds are immaculate. Plan on spending a lot of time walking the beautiful grounds. Fortunately they have an eating establishment on the premises if you want a healthy snack or lunch. I highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants to improve their mood for the day. I would give them a 5 star rating across the board except for their corporate governance. Management utilizes the public roadway center median, the swale and water management property as their own to post advertisements and sales and upcoming events. Aside from these missteps I still give them a thumbs up.
