Customer for over 7 years. This past weekend I had a terrible experience. Wrong parts were ordered. They never notified me. Car was dropped off at 8am. I called at 3pm to then find out wrong parts were ordered. Lack of notification and care to a loyal customer. I'm a senior citizen I feel I've been taken advantage.

They take forever for 1 tire change.. over 1 hour

I made an appointment a week in advance to have 2 tires changed on my mom's car. When I got to the appointment I was told they didn't have a mechanic to do the job. I took it in stride and made an appointment for her to take her car this morning after waiting for two hours and not being helped I told her to just leave. This is no way to treat customers and I will not be going back.

I’ve been coming here for about two years for my oil changes and other services. Never had any big issues. The manager Thomas is a great guy and always tries to help out any way he can.

Avoid-dishonest.
My car overheated on 595 at 12 am on a Thursday 1 week ago. I pulled off, parked the car in a parking lot on Univeresity drive, and took an Uber home. The next morning I took the car to the Davie Pepboys and was the first person their when they opened. The car was immediately put on a lift. After 1 hour I was told that a llittle more time was needed, and that I would be called. At 12 noon I started calling and tried to get a quote for the next 2 hours. At 2:00 I decided I better drive back over there.
Attached is the picture of my quote. Not including the oil change, the total was $1359.94 and they would need a part which they could not get for 4 days.. At this point I had become very suspicious and instructed Thomas I was taking my car. I proceeded to have it towed to my trusted garage. The next morning they called to say it was fixed, it had a loose hose and there was no charge!!

Made an appointment. Showed up 10 minutes early dropped off car and went to lunch. Over an hour later car had not been moved. Appointments are apparently meaningless

Simple nail removal or tire plug is a hard task for Pep boys apparently. I will never do business with them my gf recommended I bring it here for place is a JOKE customer service is horrible

I called for an estimate with it bieng $282 for 4 new spark plugs plus the replacement im aware spark plugs vary in price but my car has $20 spark plugs (max price) and the labor of 15 minutes shouldn’t cost this much jiffy lube offered $150 for reference for same exact thing parts + service never been to jiffy lube never wanna go because of this estimate yall wild

Careful with this place, specially Thomas. Lied to me saying that they repaired my tired, next day I found out that the nail was there still and they didn't fix it. Hard to rely on this places now days

What a rip off at Sunrise Pep Boys! They charged me $172 to change my headlight bulbs. Thirty minutes. Bulbs $30. Total goughing.

Terrible terrible terrible customer service. The “gentleman” at the desk is anything but a gentleman. And the tire jockey is rude and obnoxious. I should’ve known when I walked in and he was already arguing with a man in one of the bays. AWFUL. Went right down the street to TIRE KINGDOM and got excellent service!!! Would highly recommend
