I am sorry to give a 1, however I purchased a dog toy for my dogs who are aggressive chewers, looked very tough, however my dogs ripped it to shreds and inside is a water bottle with cap. This is very very unsafe as this is a choking hazard, could lead to blockage from bottle or death. Why are we allowed to sell something for our beloved pets that is very dangerous. Dogs are not to chew on plastic; there are toxins and whatever else. This should be clearly stated on the label but is not.

I didn't look at the betta fish but I've heard they are kept in suboptimal conditions to put it lightly.
Anyways, I bought a recessive pied budgie ( parakeet is another term ) from here a little over a year ago. He looked okay through the glass but in reality he was very weak and sick, and fairly underweight. Shortly after arriving home it was discovered that something was not right as he developed visible pink eye, ( which he definitely had in store but it wasn't really visible yet ) respiratory problems, and he was very weak and couldn't move like he tried to. He was prescribed medicine and recovered after a few months. He can now fly relatively well and has not been sick since. ( Vet initially suspected he had chlamydia because he had basically all the symptoms including green stool, but it was never technically confirmed as tests did not show he had it ) I really hope the other budgies in the little store cage with him survived because there is legitimately no way they didn't all have the same illness at that point because he was kept in an enclosed space with several other budgies.
Don't buy any animal in general unless you are willing to make a significant commitment to the animal/fish/bird/reptile you purchase, along with the vet fees that will inevitably come with it. Also if you get a budgie or anything else from here please don't return it if it's sick. Their website says they have a vet but it doesn't seem to mention avians or exotics or fish or anything other than the standard cat and dog, hence I heavily suspect that they never even checked the budgie I purchased before putting it up for sale because all you really had to do was feel his chest and it was like a razor blade with how bony it was. I know it would never be a comprehensive exam because this is a heavily profit driven business but things like this should be spotted with relative ease by someone who knows what they are doing. Nearly all pet stores in the area especially chain ones like this have long histories of animal abuse on at least regional levels. Overall pretty suspicious at least in my experience so there is no way I would ever return a sick animal here.
Any and all of my other criticisms that I haven't mentioned are just standard pet store stuff like enclosures being too small / wrong dimensions ( example: last time I went in there a bearded dragon was being kept in what looked like a 30 gallon tall for some reason )etc and this review is already long enough so I wont bring it up really, but I just want people to know that there are other problems than the one my review primarily focuses on.

Took my dog to give him a bath and the drain was full of dog hair, but was not visible. The tub backed up with water and I bathed my dog with water to his knees. I couldn't go to the desk for help and leave my 50 pounds dog in the tub, so when I finished, I had to dry him on the floor and bending to dry him hurt my back. They need to have an employee working by the bathing area or making sure the tubs are free of dogs hairs and not clogged.
