They do not have the slightest sense of empathy, I was there from 6am, because the doctor asked me to undergo the study the next morning, approximately after two hours, one of the officials pronounced what I thought was my name and I asked her, pronouncing my name again but she gave me to understand that not without showing me the list or making sure of my full name and she told me no, after that I no longer appeared on the waiting list, when I asked her why they had deleted me from the list. waiting list simply told me to register again, without taking into account that I had been waiting for more than two hours, in the best way I asked them to collaborate with me taking into account that they deleted me and the waiting time but none of the three officials I spoke with had the slightest intention, on the contrary they seemed to enjoy the fact that I had to continue waiting. Total lack of customer service, for the staff it seems a crime that people go without an appointment, I hope I don't have to return to any of the Quest locations, they are simply not interested in providing good service, with a simple smile and a good attitude... I don't know you need that much!!!

I had a terrible experience at this Quest Diagnostics location. First, the wait time was ridiculously long because they clearly overbook appointments. Second, the staff was rude and unprofessional, which is a stark contrast to my previous experiences at other Quest locations. Worst of all, the phlebotomist was incompetent—she couldn’t find a vein in my left arm and had to switch to my right, but her technique was extremely rough. It was incredibly painful, and she didn’t even bother to use any numbing agent. Overall, this was the worst blood draw I’ve ever had. I will never be coming back.

In late February 2025, we visited the Quest Diagnostics location at 4801 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33328-3821, just before closing time. There were four other patients in the waiting area. After my wife checked in, a staff member appeared and bluntly announced that walk-ins would no longer be accepted for the day. Without any attempt at courtesy or accommodation, we were essentially turned away. If this had been a restaurant—where customer satisfaction directly impacts business—this would have been enough reason never to return.
The next day, we decided to try the Quest Diagnostics location at 12237 Pembroke Rd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027. After checking in, we sat down to wait for our turn. However, we soon noticed that the same piece of music was playing loudly in a continuous loop, to the point that it became unbearable—not just for us, but for others in the waiting area as well. We politely asked a staff member if the music could be turned off or adjusted. Her response was cold and dismissive, something along the lines of: “Quest has set this up for a reason. We have no control over it.” She then promptly shut the door, avoiding any further discussion. The lack of basic courtesy and willingness to address a simple concern prompted us to leave and try yet another location.
For our third attempt, we decided to go to the Quest Diagnostics location at 2711 Executive Park Dr, Weston, FL 33331. This time, service was quick, but still cold and impersonal. As she always does —based on years of experience— my wife politely informed the technician that her veins are difficult to locate. In an effort to assist, she suggested using a butterfly needle instead of a regular one to minimize unnecessary attempts and bruising. Rather than acknowledging the suggestion, the technician brushed it off with a condescending response; I'm paraphrasing: “No need to tell me; I’m an expert. I know what I’m doing.” Predictably, after an initial failed attempt, she ended up using the butterfly needle anyway, leaving my wife with unnecessary bruising.
At this point, it has become clear that Quest Diagnostics staff appear to be under pressure to meet quotas, often at the expense of basic courtesy, professionalism, and patient care. Employees come across as rushed, indifferent, and unwilling to provide even minimal customer service.
I would not recommend Quest Diagnostics to anyone. The only reason we used their services is because our insurance forces us to. If given the choice, we would take our business elsewhere.

Staff are very rude. (People like that should not work in a customer service job. Every client is who pays their paycheck. At least show some respect. There is no one in the front to ask questions or see anyone about information.

This is the third quest location I went to for lab work after walk in wait times were unreal. I made an appointment this time and it is clear that quest locations are overbooking their schedules. The check in process did not account for my early arrival. Walk ins were called before me, even though the video playing in the lobby says those with appointments are prioritized. My appointment time was 2p, I arrived at 1p and I was not seen until 2:25. No updates were given about the facility being behind schedule. Others who were questioning their wait time were spoken to do disrespectfully. Kindness was no where to be seen. When I went into the room to get blood drawn there were needles(thankfully closed) on the floor and a stacked bin of other people’s urine samples on a chair! I will not be getting lab work done at any quest location in the future. I’ll opt to go back to my doctor’s office instead. I chose the quest option because prior to Covid I always had amazing experiences getting lab work done as a walk in. Times have changed, and not for the better in this case. So disappointing.

Very problematic!
No one is at the front desk nor a receptionist to help patients to be assisted. The wait time super horrendous. It is difficult to make appointments online. I completed a walk-in for today to complete just a drug screen for work employment. I been in since 915am, and waited for 2 hours and counting for an employer drug screen. When asking how long will the wait be, I was told when ever they have opening as though they have appointments. Understandable but when the place was nearly empty no one called out to see walkins this was the worst quest I have been to. Poor customer service

Arrived at 1:25pm to do drug screening test. Testing closes at 2:30 pm and they state on the website to show up an hour prior. I ended up getting denied for my test at 1:45pm because they said I arrived too late. I begged them to let me do the test and now it’s time sensitive and the refused. I did everything right, made an appointment, arrived an hour early and still refused service. This is the 2nd Quest location that I went to try and complete a drug test and had terrible experiences in both. Just don’t both going to Quest. The whole company needs a revamping.

I made an appointment for 1 PM. I have been waiting since 12:30 and selected the option to wait in the car and did not receive a phone call until 1:32. When i went inside, my appointment was gone and I was told I needed to make a new one and they called my name “100 times” when I stated I selected the option to wait in the car and I would receive a phone call, which I didn’t until after my appointment was removed. Staff is very rude and always behind on their appointments. Wasted an hour of my time and bloodwork was not done because standby appointments were full.

I was nervous but the service was excellent and very fast, no bruise and just the normal pain in the following days. Place very clean. Only complaint is checking in machine on the right wouldn't scan my documents.

Two attendants in my room both of who were on the phone though ear pieces. I didn't know when they were talking to me or the person on the phone. One switched to speaker phone and screwed up drawing my blood so that another tech had to do it in another room after I asked them to stop the phone calls and pay attention to my treatment.

I am only giving 1 star because I can't call the site. Where is communication with real person. My driver test is incorrectly marked and how I could talk to someone ?
Also my driver went on 10/15 for the test now is 10/22/24 and there is no results available- lab says they never send driver specimen . Took money for the test and never process.

I will never come back to this disaster of a location. Understaffed and nasty attitudes. My sick mother was waiting in the car to be called for her appointment and when she never was I brought her in only to be told by the rude staff that she was already called and didn’t answer. When I explained we never received the text to come inside from the car they were further rude and replied “oh well our text system doesn’t work”. Which is utterly ridiculous because I take my mother to other quest locations that work with the same system and we always receive a text.
