This year, we switched to Rising Starz from another Davie school. I wish we had done it sooner! My son is thriving in his small group class under Ms. Vanessa’s guidance, and he loves his classes! The opportunities to perform are frequent, and there are other fun social activities as well. Overall, Rising Starz has been an amazing experience!

My daughter had been here for a year and has been amazingly good! I regret not coming before. She has improved so much, growing confidence, making friends, learning about productions and musicals, and making the best out of her vocals. We love Ms Vanessa. She's so lovely and tough when it is needed. Thank you, Ms. V

Rising Starz performances are outstanding and phenomenal.....you won't be disappointed!!! Vanessa the owner puts her heart into everything she does and she is just so wonderful with the kids. Her staff of teachers are very talented, supportive, kind and patient with the kids. They are also very organized and professional. I have taken my daughter to other local performing arts companies in the past, but Rising Starz is by far THE BEST one I have ever been to and once you are here you will not want your child to go anywhere else. We love it here! My daughter's talent has grown, improved and developed so much as the years progress here. We could not ask for a better family owned and operated talent company!!

My daughter has been going for years for both private and group lessons! She absolutely loves it! They are kind, professional, patient positive and truly honest when it comes to the child and their goals!Very happy to be part of the family

I would never recommend this place. My daughter was attending class for young 4 years old kids. The class supposed to start every Monday from 4:15 till 5. I have to say that the teacher was never on time. Never!!! Always late and she never extended the class, not even a minute! I didn't say a word about that until one day. We are always rushing to be on time and again the teacher was late. We were the only ones waiting for the class to start. The teacher came late and additionally she said that we are going to wait for other kids. Still wait and waste time!! we didn't even know if anyone is coming for sure. I asked why? This doesn't make sense. My daughter is here on time. We can start. We don't want to waste more time waiting for someone who maybe is not coming at all. She wasn't happy with what I said but she took my daughter inside the class and still didn't start the class. The woman at the front desk went inside to talk to the teacher so she finally started the class. Only one more child attended the class later that day. I was afraid that after I said something the teacher is going to be not nice to my daughter, picking on her and that's what happened... my daughter was crying most of the time. Is it a coincidence?? I took her out and said that this was probably our last time here and asked for refund. Couple days later I received an email saying about no refund policy and also saying that my child cut her finger and that's why she cried. Seriously?? First of all I didn't see any cut on a finger and secondly how she would do it. There was only two kids and a teacher. What was the teacher doing??? Also I want to mention that they cannot accommodate makeup classes!!! Their policy includes makeup classes and I called once to schedule a makeup class. They were not able to do it. They suggested to bring my daughter for the older class kids to watch. Nonsense!! I paid for the class, they couldn't schedule a makeup class and they don't refund for the class!!! I was very excited for this place and now I'm just really disappointed and I regret bringing my daughter there. Please be aware.

I find their office to be lacking customer relations' skills. I was told one thing by one employee and then another by another one. Was looking for a beginner's class for my 13 year old daughter. Was told she had to submit a voice sample. After we submitted the sample, I was then told she had to submit a video sample. Which we did. Then after a long wait, we were informed that they were not going to accept her in their beginner's class. Very odd and questionable!

Absolutely amazing! My daughter has learned so much and enjoys performing with her fellow classmates. The staff truly cares for the students as both performers and as people. Vanessa and her team foster confidence and excellence, and are committed to learning each student’s skills and abilities to design a plan and create those key opportunities to take your child to the next level. This place absolutely AMAZING! i have been going here for a while and everytime i walk into those doors i get filled with excitement and get so welcomed in! I have improved so uch in my acting with their guide and tips and honestly its been amazing working with them! I cant wait to continue working with them! Any unsure parents, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!

Both of my sons have studied singing, and performance at Rising Starz! Miss Vanessa is single handedly responsible for my older son’s full ride scholarship to American Heritage. She has an uncanny ability to identify and pull out hidden talents of children and young adults. All teachers at Rising Starz are incredible! The value our family received from our involvement at RS was immeasurable !! Thank you Miss Vanessa !!

My son LOVES the classes and teachers at Rising Starz Music & Performance Academy. Since February of 2017, my son has gone to the Saturday classes and participated in many of their performance events. Ms Vanessa and her staff go above and beyond to provide their students with meaningful and memorable experiences on and off stage. And now that we are QUARANTINED, I appreciate their dedication even more!! Ms Vanessa did not skip a beat. Saturday classes continued online from the comfort and safety of our home, which my son looks forward to. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do! ???
