PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FINAL RECEIPT!!We decided to rent a vehicle while in Daytona Beach after arriving at the airport instead of booking ahead or using Uber. I cannot remember the name of the employee but at 10:50pm when most people are checked out and ready go home for the night, she was still very nice and helpful. She was quick and explained everything thoroughly. We had signed for a 3 day vehicle rental (50-74 hour rental), we had the vehicle for about 65 hours. When we returned the key, it was given directly to an employee and not placed in the drop box. I was told I would be emailed a copy of the agreement when it was closed out.A full day after I returned the vehicle and was back at home, I finally got my email with the rental summary. There were many changes from what I signed for when picking up the vehicle.Differences:- Min & Max rental hours when from 50-74 hours to 74-98 hours.- They documented I returned the vehicle a full 24 hours after my flight took off and they charged me for another day of the vehicle being parked in their lot or already rented back out.- I signed for a 3 day rental at $88.75/day, copy they sent me was changed to a 4 day rental at $109/day.- All other daily fees and taxes were changed from 3 days to 4 days as well.In total, I was charged an additional $200+ for the difference that I did not sign for.

My daughter traveled from Missouri to Daytona beach, she had a car reservation since February thru another rental company at the airport, when she arrived she could not get the car cause she did not have the card with her, so I made a reservation with you guys and within 20 mins she was on her way after messing with the other company for 2 hours. Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter .

Smooth transaction. The employee went out of her way to get us a different vehicle after we checked in. Very accommodating. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. The vehicle was rented with points from our credit card, but pricing was competitive. Will rent with them again.

From start to finish the whole process of renting from Alamo at the Daytona Beach Airport was satisfying and easy. The price was reasonable and the car was clean & problem-free, but the best part was dealing with Tony & DeAngilo at the counter. Both of these men were helpful, warm & personable and a full-on pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this business!

After I rented a vehicle at Daytona Beach Airport, I received an $1100 damage claim for damage that was previously on the vehicle plus loss of income etc. Thankfully I had taken photos of the damage and the rest of the car before I got in to it. You would think that this previous damage would have been recorded so they would not go after me, or the next guy! There are a lot of complaints online about this from Alamo and their claim recovery company. It still took over a half a day of my time to correspond and send photos and deal with the hassles for no reason. What a pain! Be sure to take photos before you drive it off! I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if I hadn't.

We rented a vehicle for a day and we decided we wanted it longer. We got a quote for around $400 then all the sudden it went up to $600 when we wanted a break down the staff wasn’t able to give us all the details and literally said “I don’t know” staff definitely needs to be better trained and fees need to be more be established. We ended up just giving back the rental and ubering because it would be cheaper.

My experience with Alamo at Daytona Beach Airport went smoothly. I picked up and dropped off during the weekday, so it wasn't crowded at all. During pickup, I was informed that I did not need to pay a deposit which was shocking. During drop-off, I didn’t run into any problems either. Customer service was excellent as well! I will be renting again with Alamo.
