I’ve had a good experience here in the past, but this time around has been awful. I went in to get an updated eyeglass prescription and a new contact prescription (haven’t worn them in a decade) and because I’ve had issues with my eyes in the past, also got the extra tests done for like $60. I also got the membership that let me get my next two appointments free, so overall spent almost $200.The doctor was okay, but didn’t go over my test results with me. I told them my preference for contact brand and they gave me a different one as a trial, which is fine, but after a week of literal headaches and being unable to see up close, I called in to see if I could get the prescription double checked. The person who answered at the Daytona location (where the original exam was done) was confused and told me they didn’t have a doctor on staff at the time. After talking for a few minutes, apparently it was a fill-in doctor or something? Anyway, I had to go all the way up to Palm Coast after another week to get the prescription updated, I mentioned everything that had happened, and although I got an updated prescription for a trial pair, it was still the same brand even though I wanted to change to my preferred one. This time the prescription itself is better, but still not right. The right one also seems to be bulging off my eye and drying out.I was told I had to go back to the Daytona location to get my test results and a finalized prescription. I learned after this that an updated eyeglass prescription was never given, and I only got a contact prescription. I’m just done at this point. I can never see the same doctor at this company, and the ones I do see don’t seem to care. I have half a mind to try to get a refund considering I never got a correct prescription, but I just don’t even want to deal with them anymore. I suggest going to a local eye doctor, not a chain.

Kathy in Daytona is a rock star! I think you should get her a back up band and send her out on tour. Why let Starbucks have all the fun?

The service was great. Kathy helped me through my sunglasses purchase. My sunglasses were 1 week late from when they were promised.

I came in about 10 minutes early, was seen for the pre exam, did the up charge to check my eyes, since I like to be thorough. I spoke with two women there they were super sweet, very fun to speak with. The doctor was super chill, and got me in and out no problem. After going through the options with the pricing and the options for lenses and such, finished up and had a great time. Not sure about all the negative reviews people shouldn't mald as hard.

I made an appointment online and went in December 2023. I saw Dr. Eberly, a lady, in the Daytona Beach Store at International Speedway Boulevard. She was so likable. Two weeks later there was no call or text from this store to let me know that my eyeglasses were ready, or my trial contacts were ready. I called the store. A boy answered the phone and looked for my glasses and contacts. They were not there yet. He told me to wait a few days. Then I did receive a prerecorded call and a text message that the glasses and contacts had arrived. I went in yesterday, January 12, 2024. My glasses were there. I guess they were mine. I could not see! The floor was rising to me like I was standing in knee-high water. The girls could not find my contacts. A young lady by the name of Odallas, offered me a refund for the glasses I had paid for, which was a relief. Then she told me I could go for a follow-up visit one hour away either in Palm Coast or Orange City and that I would not have to pay for a follow-up exam. (Odallas said this store should have a doctor again by the first of February! I was surprised that Dr. Eberly was gone!) I have to let the Daytona Beach Store know where I am going, and they will fax my records there but now I am hesitating to go to another store, because if I have the wrong prescriptions, am I going to have to abide by my first exam and get the wrong lens again? Plus, I am looking up the two locations I can go to, and the reviews are also bad. The negative reviews all sound similar to my experience.

This review is for Jeremiah specifically. I had to return my glasses because I could not see out of them. This usually would be a frustrating situation but his customer service skills are top notch. Not only that, he is extremely knowledgeable about his trade. He is a wonderful asset to your company.

Husband & I both had appointments for exams, glasses, & contacts. Everything went very smoothly. Kathy was very helpful with checking us in & all of the billing when we were finished.

Unbelievably unprofessional. No one greeted me for 10 minutes after I walked in the door. The entire place smells like mold, and mildew. The doctor decided to dilate my eyes without telling me. He said don’t worry you’ll be fine. And then the person that was supposed to be righting up my eyeglass prescription told me to pick and choose what I wanted, progressives or bifocals. And I said I have no idea. I thought the doctor told me what I needed and this young kid didn’t even look like he’s more than 21 said well, it’s actually your preference. I said, how do I know what I prefer if I’ve never had bifocals before? Needless to say as I am having this conversation, the woman in the office says ma’am, that’s enough. Oh really? OK. I left and I will never walk back in that place again. Do yourself a favor and go to Walmart.

I Took my prescription there and bought new glasses. Two weeks later they came in but the right lens had the wrong prescription. At first I was told to wear them for a week to see if I get use to them. However, they were unwearable and made me feel sick to even try. After realizing the wrong script was entered in the computer they sent them back to the lab to be corrected. I asked how long it would take and was told it would not be two weeks like before since there is only one lens to correct. It is now two weeks later and I am told UPS is running behind. The service is marginal at best, no sense of urgency on the part of anyone, and a lack the of legitimate concern for the customer. I live an hour away and used them because they were recommended. I however do not recommend them at all. It has been a month and I still do not have my glasses, yet they have my money.

I went to pickup my glasses last night and greeted by Jeremiah. With a nice smile and pleasant tone, he asked how he could help. He offered me seat and got my glasses. Unfortunately, the bifocals are set too low, so they need to redone. Without missing a beat, he offered a sincere apology and immediately started to remark the lines. He again apologized and said he would have them redone for me.Mistakes happen all the time. It's all in how they are handled. This young man was not responsible for the mistake, but took ownership of it none the less. I am a very satisfied customer because of Jeremiah.

As advertised. Complete exam with 2 pairs of glasses with lenses for $99.95. I paid $20 over standard $79.95 deal for additional eye testing. People were friendly professional and on time. Overall experience was excellent. I would highly recommend.
