I haven't dealt with such poor and incompetent customer support as from Best Buy in a long, long time. TV was supposed to be delivered and installed today between 7:00am and 10:00am. That window came and went with no calls or updates. I called the number in the delivery email at 1:00pm and got bounced around from one person to another, only to eventually be told that my delivery was still scheduled, they were unable to get hold of the delivery team, but they would call me back. No calls or updates all day as I twiddled my thumbs after having to stay home all day waiting. I called back at 5:00pm, only to go through the same gyrations as earlier and to be told once again I was still scheduled for delivery today, and the delivery team would soon call me. I also tried the "text/chat" option, only to be told after wasting 20 minutes that I needed to call the number I had already used twice and that had prompted me to use the text/chat option... At 7:00 I tried to call the local store, and after trying every single option and department available finally determined there is no way to talk to a local person, just someone, who-knows-where, routed through a call center. This time I was moved from one person to another, repeating all my information each time, only to be told I needed another dept. Finally after 40 minutes on hold with the 4th person I was disconnected. But not to worry, the deliver link/website in my email still shows my appointment status as "on schedule". And to think yesterday I was asking about what I should be tipping the delivery/install guys. Don't make the mistake of purchasing from Best Buy if there is any possibility of needing after the sale support.

The folks in store were fantastic! Super helpful and had me all set in less than 30 minutes. Plus it was super late and everyone was very friendly and patient with my over tired, frustrated self.Online, not so great. Made a pretty simple purchase and ended up having to return the item to my local store and get help replacing it. I will never order online with them again.

Bought a DVD player (yes, they still make them!) and the salesman didn't sell me the product I asked for. I asked for one that doesn't need a TV hookup (and yes, they make them, too) but he sold me one that needs a TV. Maybe I should have asked again, to double check, but it didn't even occur to me to do so because I thought he gave me what I wanted and there was no indication on the box about needing a TV. Next time more questions. An extra trip to the store. Hmmm. ?

Gentleman in Apple section was fabulous! Turned in my old iPad for credit and purchased new iPad He backed up/transferred all info to cloud, came home and loaded on new iPad. It was a smooth transfer and purchase. Thank you so much young man from Saginaw, Mi.
