Not a good hotel. In need of several repairs and needs an extermination. Filthy ceiling vents, floors, walls. Broken faucet, broken curtain, broken balcony door handle. The cockroach 🪳 was the final straw.

This was a very dirty hotel, the room had roaches, the tub had fecal matter, it was just nasty.

Right on the beach. Parking is a little tight. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nicer than I expected, but the bathroom is extremely small. Pillows are not great and look as though they belong on a coach. But the bed is comfortable.

Mrs. Green is amazing. Service is amazing. Super clean rooms and new. Best bang for your dollar for sure. Resort style and best price on the beach. Really nice place

Great place to stay at Daytona Beach Shores. Nicely remodeled rooms. Nice pool area. The bar/ restaurant had good food and drinks. The outside bar was still under construction for our visit, will be nice when that is finished as well. Would stay here again when in the area.

Very disappointed. Checkin time posted as 4pm. We arrived at 1130 (not expecting to check in early, but hopeful). However, room not ready, after multiple requests, until 4:35pm. Room advertised as ‘ocean view, there was a small view of ocean from balcony, but right over dirty restaurant roof view. See pic. Kitchenette in room, but no pots, pans, plates or cups. No paper towels. Brown stains all over tub and constant beeping of fire alarm in lobby. Positives: 2 free drinks during happy hour and bed slept comfortable. I will not be returning.
Noteworthy details: Rooftop view

Cockroach. The managers seems to not care and didn’t not refund me my money. Plus after they clean my room it was still dirty.

My wife and I came here to visit the Aku Tiki to revisit a favorite childhood spot for her. We were absolutely appalled by just how run down, dirty, grimmy, and completely chaotic and disorganized this place is. It took about an hour to check in with the constant chirping of smoke alarms in the background. I guess the fire alarm system is not working properly properly and has not been for quite some time? We bumped into who I assume was a housekeeping supervisor stating that it wasn't reasonable for him to clean 14 rooms by the 4pm check in time. Naturally, we found our room completely unsanitary (see pictures attached). The shower has a ton of hair and obvious grime and the linens had several red and brown stains. The whole floor also smelled like smoke. When I spoke to the front desk about these concerns there's absolutely no manager or assistant manager on duty at 7 pm on a Friday and so they can't (or won't) do anything for us. We just left and went home rather than have to stay in that room overnight. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel that costs over $200 per night.

Cleanest rooms I've ever seen in daytona. Freshly renovated and even had a dehumidifier in the room to help with keeping the moisture down in the room. Both front desk staff and cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. Stairwells were clean and didn't have that typical daytona smell. Pool was large and clean, no cloudy water. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. The pool is located on the side which means you get beautiful sun all day! They even had a DJ Saturday afternoon!! The tiki bar is a bit overpriced but a great experience. A few reasons for leaving off the 5th star. There was 1 elevator down for our entire stay, this wasn't a big deal for me because I only use the elevator at the beginning and end of my trip. At some points I did see a line forming at the elevator door. Also, although they have a beautiful new sea wall and stairs to the beach, there was a pile of old debris piled up against the side fence that needs to be removed. It's not in the way of beach access, more of an eye sore. The side perimeter fence was also damaged and leaning. Again more of an eye sore issue. Overall I recommend staying here. I am making this hotel my new go to for daytona!!

WOW! This place is magnificient! We were with family who had never really had a vacation. They were so excited. We so enjoyed that we were able to bring them to such a nice place. Staff was amazing. Every employee spoke when they saw us. I dont know what is expected by some, the price was amazing, the rooms great, the pool awesome, the food in the restaurant unbelieveable!
We have ZERO complaints. I just hope they dont get tired of seeing us check in!
Perfect score on everything.
The elevator was out on our check out day, I am for the most part wheelchair bound. They sent a man to help my husband take me down the stairs. We were on the forth floor. Again they did everything they could.
Folks things happen, but when your host does all they can to accomidate you appreciate their efforts and be kind.

Night manager male stating his name is Vicki was absolutely terrible. I booked a last minute stay, paid before I arrived, had my booking confirmation in hand along with my ID and credit card. Night manager advised he cannot give away rooms for free (again money gone off my card, confirmation in hand, etc) Hotel manager accused me of having a fake confirmation and trying to get a free room. Hotel manager then cursed me (saying this is frigging ridiculous because I admittedly and frustratedly stated this is frinking ridiculous. He then turned on some loud machine that I tried to talk over and he proceeded to yell at me saying he can yell too... I attempted to advise i wasnt yelling but this man overspoke me and continued on with saying he cant give away a free room...when I say this is unacceptable it is an understatement. 30 minutes after driving away I am advised by customer service that my booking confirmation was located but they don't have any available rooms?!?!?!
