Lauren is a waitress at the Best Western restaurant in Daytona that served me breakfast 4 times while i was down there on vacation.She was such a sweet young girl always happy and outgoing.She always put a smile on my face just what i needed early in the morning. think she is a great asset to your restaurant, I wish there was more Lauren’s as waitresses in this world.Food & drinks: Food was excellent and Lauren my waitress i had 4 mornings for breakfast was outstanding.

Our server Lauren was great! Went for happy hour and had a great time. Lauren was a breath of fresh air and was kind and knowledgeable and had great conversations. Made sure we always had a full drink and a smile on our faces. Great hidden gem with fun staff. Will definitely be back to see her again!

Newly renovated rooms. Got a kitchenette with no dishes, paper towels or utensils. New microwave that doesn't work. Water shut off for 3 hours one day, the next day the elevator was out of service and had to climb to the top floor. Instead of hanging bath towels on the rack they hide them to the back on a shelf under the sink.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband 2/2 thru 2/4, the young lady who checked us in was extremely accommodating, it was ny bday weekend and the other hotel we were at had roaches. She gave us a room and was able to match the rate versus what we saw online. She also provided us with a discount for the inconvenience. We agree to pay 304.20 for the entire stay, my credit card was charged all went well. The morning we go to check out I received notification from my credit card that I had been charge $63 by the hotel. Since we were checking out that morning we waited until we went downstairs to see why we had been charged. We did not order any additional services and always went out to eat. During check out I asked the young lady Alana, different person than the young lady who checked us in, why we were charged an additional $63, she said that she couldn't explain why and she was just told to charge it by the manager. I asked if she could get someone to explain it to me because there was no reason listed for the charge. She calls the manager downstairs Charles. I guess he lives in the hotel because he came down with basketball shorts, a dirty sweater and it didn't seem like he was fully awake. I asked why we were charged an additional $63 he said because he believed that the person Kristy didn't charge us properly. I let him know they she told us the amount she would charge and we paid that amount in full during checkin and asked him to refund the money. He said we weren't getting the money back because we had not paid for the rate of the room. He showed me the new receipt with the new rates, the discounts and the additional charge. One night of rate changed from $167.20 to $209 the other changed from $159.20 to $199.00. I explained that we checked in and paid the requested amount at the rate given to us at the time, it's printed clearly on the paper and has my signature. I advised him he should have reached out to Kristy and us before charging my card. He stood firm and did not give me back my money which I did not agree to or authorized. I asked for the owner or corporate phone number they would not give me that. I asked him to call the agent who checked me in to confirm the story he said it was too early, it was after 9:15am. Charles was extremely rude and unprofessional in appearance and mannerisms. I still haven't gotten. My money back. He also did this to another person who was checking out.

When we went for checking at front desk there were about 4 people in front of us and took 45 min to be checked in…there was only one person doing all the check ins also the Hotel is under renovation and they start to work early in the morning to make noise..also bathroom sink clogged..2nd day room was cleaned but no towels or refill in the coffee machine..requested towels but they never showed up i had to go down to reception and picked them up myself..terrible customer service

We had such a lovely stay for the four days we were there at Best Western! It was during the holiday rush, and despite that, the staff members worked hard to provide their best service to us. The beach view was perfect, and we could see the beach from the balcony of the hotel room we were in. The room was also in perfect condition, even though it was being renovated, it did not bother us at all. The room had a mini kitchen that we could use, with an electric stove, a large fridge and microwave. The beds were very nice for a hotel at this price, and they did not disappoint. The staff were especially hard working, and even though it was during the holidays, the staff member at the desk was there for 4 days 24/7. She continued to provide the best service despite working long hours and she was very diligent throughout all. The hotel was a good distance from the beach and a good driving distance to other places, such as the boardwalk in downtown Daytona Beach. We were able to go farther than Daytona Beach, and it was a comfortable distance as the Hotel was not too crowded.

Hotel is under ,reconstruction and rooms were brand new. Beach access was being rebult. For a non smoking hotel, the overwhelming smell of cigarettes and pot smoke was string on the 5th floor.Room service was hit or miss and anything more than a bed being made and dropping off towels was asking a lot. Our room floor was filthy. White socks were black in about 10 mins. We got locked out of our room due to a lock malfunction. The maid took home the master key leaving us waiting in the lobby for 3 plus hrs until the owner could track her down..the staff is very friendly. Do not recommend eating at the restaurant !!!PS we were in 501 and the bathroom is darn near impossible to open and close. Zero room with the door open to close it!
