This was on the way to St. Augustine, so we ended up stopping here (12/23). It was a NIGHTMARE. I guess with Christmas travel, maybe it just made the situation worse. Lots of honking, lots of aggressive driving, and lots of people not being kind. But let's get to Buc-ee's and not the people.Gas prices were great. Looked to be at least .20 less than other stations we had passed that day. It took a bit to get a pump (again, super busy), but the pumps were easy to use. No issues.Parking after pumping gas was an issue because of how busy it was. Plus, people eat in their cars. So, you think someone is going to pull out and wait for them - and they never leave. So you need to be quick to take a space when you find one.Super busy inside. My wife's not a fan of BBQ, so a lot of the primary food offerings she wasn't into - and we didn't have time to wait for the food she could have ordered. So she just picked up a ready to go item. My kids said the brisket sandwich was good. Huge bathrooms, very clean and taken care of.They really need seating outside. There's a huge area that could do with seating. Benches, picnic tables, something. There's so much food inside that it's tough to not be able to just enjoy it then (and not in a car).I don't think we'd go back here for the food, but maybe the gas - if it wasn't too wild. Otherwise, I'd pay more to not have to deal with the nightmare scenario we had.

First time visiting the infamous truck stop. Bought a bottle of sparkling water, the club, and the brisket sandwich. The club was sliced turkey, ham with bacon nothing too outstanding. The brisket, however, was delicious and made every moment worth it!The cute, overpriced souvenirs were easy to add to my basket!

I've heard many great things about Buc-ee's from those who have visited in Texas. It's true what they say - everything's bigger in (or in this case from) Texas. This is currently listed as the largest Buc-ee's in the county. We made the mistake of visiting during the holiday season and it was PACKED. The restrooms were clean, the overall experience was a bit overwhelming (primarily the crowd but the immensity of the space impacted it), there was a plethora of their owned brand products, and the food was hefty. Side note - it would be nice if there was some form of seating considering the amount of fresh food is available.

A slice of Americana!Prices of Buc-ee's branded merch was very fair. I was actually shocked. However, you can easily drop a lot of bucks here if you're not careful. The brisket sandwich and banana pudding I tried were excellent. I'd love to try their other puddings and fudge as well.I was looking for any branded chips, but no potato chips that I could see.

Saturday night was jumping at Daytona Buc-ee's! According to the cashier, the average order of the evening has been $100 so they're raking it in. I was bummed they were sold out of the granola, but stumbled upon some new items to try. The banana pudding looked extremely inviting so I grabbed one to share with my mother. It was as delicious as it looked. We each had a few bites (I had more, lol) and there's plenty remaining. My stepdad is a huge fan of the dark chocolate overbites so he turned me on to this delicious treat. A dark chocolate beaver face filled with peanut butter. YUMMY! I also bought some fresh roasted cinnamon pecans and a bag of beaver nuts for my friend because she's a huge fan. Once again, a successful adventure to Buc-ee's was had! P.S. They have plenty of Christmas merch and have also put out the Valentine's Day merchandise as well.

When I first heard of this place, I thought no way a gas station can be ummm a must see, eat, or stop. Well, I was proven wrong. Bucee's is no ordinary gas station. Oh yes, they have about 100 gas pumps. Well kept and areas clean. But the surprise is the bakery, store, and brisket on the board. Let me explain. They have constant freshly smoked chopped brisket and make brisket sandwiches for $8.49 each. Their prices have gone up, but it's still a pretty hearty sandwich stuffed with delicious BBQ. They have sausage and turkey too - both good too - but the brisket is the star. They also sell cheese, sausage kolaches at the bakery and delicious cinnamon rolls. Also their snack aisles filled with Bucee-branded items are too abundant to name everything. I'm obsessed with their dark chocolate almonds and dark chocolate covered raisins. They have unique snacks like Beaver Nuggets and so much more. They also sell fountain beverages on the cheap with more than a dozen types of sodas, coffee, tea not and iced and Icee station. Their restrooms are clean, huge with a ton of stalls, so there's never a line even when they're super busy. They have their own Bucee clothes and shoes lines and sell other boutique style merchandise from kitchen wares to kitschy gifts, mugs, shirts and so much more!

OMG! This place is a bit overwhelming. Buc-ee's is masivly large, bright, open and clean. The staff are very friendly, even at 4:30 in the morning. God bless them. The bathrooms are large, and always clean. We stop here when traveling to get gas and pick up a coffee and a bacon/sausage, egg and cheese biscuit/croissant. My husband loves their fresh beef jerky. They have everything you didn't know you needed, from food, clothes, toys, garden and home accessories. My husband even came home one day with a huge fire pit and wood rack from Buc-ee's.

Wow! Buc-ee's! This place is like the Costco of gas stations. This location is also in the process of adding a car wash. They have a lot here for everyone. Plenty of parking as well. We walked in (and this was our first time here) and it was busy at 11am. But everything went really smooth and there was enough to go around. Now this place really has everything you need for trips we bought many different things including: a tye-dye cooler with the logo, beaver nuggets (regular & cinnamon flavor) a shot glass made out of silicone, a magnet, a variety of candied nuts, beef jerky, a chicken sandwich & iced coffee. The chicken sandwich has a pink sauce that is so good! The chicken is tender and bun is nice and hot. Staff was all around to help if needed & their bathrooms are seriously one of the nicest I've ever seen. Even got to score a photo with Buc-ee. Would highly recommend to visit and take time to walk around.

Welcome to Buc-ees! I finally made it to Daytona, home of this Texas sized gas station. Buc-ees is a chain beloved by travelers for its award winning bathrooms, 100 gas pumps with the best prices, and 54,000 square feet of snacks, food, drinks, and shopping. They stick their bucked tooth beaver mascot on everything!Buc-ees was founded by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III. Beaver was the nickname given to him by his mother when he was born. It was derived from the Bucky Beaver Space Guard cartoon tooth paste commercial. The name Buc-ee's was formed by combining his childhood nickname, Beaver, and the name of his Labrador Retriever, Buck. The first Buc-ees opened in 1982 as a regular sized gas station. In 2003 he got the idea to build the mega Buc-ees that road trippers love today. There are now 41 travel centers throughout the south with more to come. Buc-ee's holds two world records for biggest gas station in Sevierville, Tennessee at 74,707 square feet and longest car wash. Aplin and his business partner still own 100 percent of Buc-ee's. This allows them to operate the way they feel best. They pay a higher than average starting wage of $18 an hour with benefits and three weeks vacation. As strange as it may sound, the most popular attraction at Buc-ees might just be the restroom. It was voted the best bathroom in the nation in 2012. They are unlike any other gas station bathroom you may have experienced. At Buc-ee's you can look forward to lots of space, floor to ceiling tile, and a cleanliness that puts all other restrooms to shame. Aplin designed the restrooms himself. Another reason to visit Buc-ee's is the BBQ. In 2017 they hired world barbecue champion Randy Pauly as their Director of Barbecue. Buc-ee's is known for their brisket and when it is ready they shout out "Fresh, hot brisket on board!" Other food treats include in house made fudge, hot sugared nuts, a wall of jerky, a bakery with giant cinnamon rolls, snack aisles that go on for miles, and candy. They are one of the few businesses to offer both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products. Don't forget to grab a bag, or several of one off their most popular snacks, Beaver Nuggets in an array of flavors. If it is sweet or savory, they have it. Best of all the prices are very reasonable.Their store is more like a Walmart than a gas station convenience store. Besides the food and drinks you can shop T-shirts, stuffed animals, home goods, seasonal decorations, outdoor gear, and even smokers and grills. The variety is staggering. Right now all of the Christmas decorations are center stage.Don't forget to fill up your gas tank. Every Buc-ee's has at least 100 pumps that are constantly being meticulously cleaned by staff. Every part of the pump is sanitized. They always have the best prices on gas too. Now that I have become Buc-ee's baptized I understand their cult following. Fans line up for days to attend openings. They have become the gold standard of road trip junk food. You find yourself skipping every other gas stations in anticipation of making it to Buc-ees. In my past visits I have had their brisket sandwiches, fresh made potato chips, fudge, giant cinnamon rolls, hot nuts, cinnamon and sugar beaver nuggets, and peach cobbler. All have been outstanding. I may have gotten a shirt too. The only hard about coming to Buc-ees is stopping for a $40 gas fill up and trying not leave with $200 of other stuff inside.

I don’t know where to start. The place was a blast. I absolutely loved the fudge and the fact that they let you sample it also. The brisket smell delicious however, I just finished eating somewhere else. Otherwise I would’ve had to pound some of that stuff too. I had to pick up a few trinkets just to say that I was there, but what a cool idea for a convenience store ...super sized

Crazy busy but there was parking available and they had lots of helpful staff so there weren't any lines - it was just crazy busy. Love their beef brisket sandwich and sugared pecans and .... they seem to have everything a traveler (especially a vacationing traveler) needs when traveling up/down I95. While I don't really like crowds, I'm willing to endure them for a stop at Buc-ees.

Heard about this place many times and finally got to go! The smoked briskets sandwich was off charts, make sure add some more BBQ sauce a little stingy and no side sauces. Best sweet tooth stop ever. Lots of drinks and jerky off the charts. Plenty to see craker barrell meets Publix, 50 times bigger of Wawa.Enjoy

Just wow, what an experience as far they have it all in one place. Decided to try the brisket sandwich and buy some nuts of course. This is the way a gas station should be. Fresh food and tons of pumps. Couldn’t berthed bathroom was clean with the amount of people using them.

A massive fuel station with over 100 dispensers and a convenience store in Daytona Beach,FL. This place also has several Tesla e-chargers. The c-store (~50,000 SF) sells cut or sliced brisket sandwiches, BBQ sandwiches, breakfast tacos, variety of grab and go candies and snacks, brownies and muffins, beef jerky in bags and at a deli counter, soft drink stations, souvenirs, snacks for pets, and more!
