Went for an appraisal appointment and after I got there they were like hmmn nooo u can just do it online .... And then the online thing didn't work. They were str8 up trying to send me home. Took my info. Took pix of my car finally after I insisted that I have an appointment... And now it's been 2 days and I still haven't heard anything .... ? Not sure what happened ..

I am sorry it has taken me so long to post this, but here goes. I purchased a car the day before Thanksgiving. Morgan Crist was awesome at finding us just the right one. We were helped through the process by Bailey Beauchamp and the rest of the team there. She would ask for assistance so as not to make any mistakes with us and everyone that helped was kind and professional. I usually have my husband do all the paperwork when we buy a car because I feel so much pressure and it always seems a little shady. My experience at CarMax was wonderful and I have shared that with several people since. Thank you to everyone in sales and Rick in service for scheduling our “body fix up”. Excellent experience, we will not buy a car any other way! Thank you ALL so very much!

I went in to sell a car. Everything was very fast and smooth. Savion was a huge help through the whole process. My estimate was exactly what they said it was going to be. i was out the door with a check within 90 mins.

This was the third car we bought from carmax and the last. Their Corp called us regarding our purchase and was rude to us on the phone because of their issue and paperwork but tried to put it on us. Never never again and we will tell everyone NOT to buy here!! Very poor customer service from the dealer to the Home Office!!

Both Clermont and Daytona locations assisted me with my purchase. After finding an alternative for my down payment, I was able to get the vehicle I needed.

I will NEVER buy a car from them again. Not the Daytona store anyway. Too many reasons to list here but top reasons include dishonest about condition of their vehicles, unethical billing practices and incredibly arrogant manager. Long story short, had to get a state agency involved when I first bought my car, and it looks like I'll have to get yet another involved. Giving them one star is giving them too much credit. Sad too bc I've dealt in the past with a different CarMax location in a different state and that location was wonderful. Daytona, however, is another story.

From the moment I walked into CarMax I was taking care of. They were very professional very helpful. It was one of the nicest experiences I've ever had with a company before. It didn't take long at all I signed some papers and got my check!

The car buying process was very easy. We found a vehicle we liked, had it moved to the Daytona location for $99.00. They called and texted us when it arrived. We went and took a test drive and bought it. They offer financing if you need it and can do everything right there.

Best experience ever! Very easy going and pleasant atmosphere….not like some of these car dealerships that have their salesmen come at ya like hawk's, hate that!!Car max is awesome :) and I love my Infinite, so much fun to drive!!!

First and last time shopping at CarMax. My wife was in need of a new car, I traded in mine to assist with the down payment. I expected to get at least KBB value and was shocked to find out KBB is not honored at this business, the industry standard to accessing value of a vehicle. The overall process was streamlined as we visited the day before and arranged our purchase in advance. Sales person a little abrasive but she lightened up by the end of the process once she had all but the car off the lot. I personally will not shop there again but others may find this easier to deal with.

We paid cash for a car and was told some paperwork would be sent to us by Fed Ex.We are from out of state spending an extended stay in Florida. We asked if the paperwork could be sent to our condo in Ponce Inlet since we were not physically at the address where the car would be registered. We were told that would be no problem. A few days later our sales representative called to ask how we like the car and I asked him when the paperwork would be sent. He checked on it and said it had been sent and was out for delivery in Missouri. I reminded the sales representative that we wanted the paperwork sent to the Florida address where we were staying. He apologized and said he had taken a few days off and the staff sent the paperwork out. It seems to me some sort of note should have been placed on the sales document to advise the person sending the paperwork how we wanted that handled. This caused a lot of grief for us trying to retrieve the paperwork that was sent to a residence over a thousand miles away from our location

Everyone was friendly, courteous, professional. It's better if you make an appointment. If purchasing, bring in all your documents like proof of address, insurance, paystubs, drivers license. It would speed up the process. It's best if you come prepared.
