Unfortunately not exciting at all, 30% about CocaCola, 30% old pictures, 30% boring plants.

The Daytona Museum of Art & Science is simply marvelous!! My husband & I spent several hours there taking in the beautiful works of art that are on display at this lovely facility. We especially enjoyed the special Audubon exhibit at the Cici & Hyatt Brown Gallery. It was so informative & wonderfully displayed; a real treat for bird lovers! We plan to return again to visit the planetarium which we didn't have time to see on this visit. We were so impressed with this great place that we purchased an annual membership.

Me and my husband got married here almost 3 weeks ago. It is really beautiful and the museum provides different halls to rent for your wedding Day. They also provide the chairs, tables and other amenities which is nice and on the other side you don't have worry about it. However, I would advice to hire a day of coordinator because even though we had communicated every detail and timeline there was still some communication that was missed on their side and between staff on the wedding day. Our cocktail hour was handled wrong on the bar side which the Museum also provided. We did a split-bar and communicate with the Manager about how we expect the ticket situation for the drinks, however not sure if her assistant, Shelby, was provided with that information because she dismissed the bar situation. She didn't provide the tickets for the drinks during cocktail hour and she even gave my husband some attitude when he ask for the tickets and she said she thought we were going to provide the tickets. If you are the vendor why would we provide that on the side? So much lack of communication. Also it says that the museum provides access to the art gallery for cocktail hour and even though our guests arrived minutes late to the cocktail hour, they turn off the art galleries lights before the cocktail hour was done and pretty much none of our guests got to enjoy the art gallery. If something is said to be done at a certain hour just because people aren't there doesn't mean they have to shut down the access especially when the timelime says at what hour the cocktail hour is going to be over. Everything else was okay but definitely hire a professional day of coordinator because they dismiss what we told them through emails, phone and in person.

Magical and sometimes whimsical paintings of Florida life and landscapes by early Florida artists, nicely arranged in a few rooms on two floors. We also enjoyed the easy, open atrium layout of this new building. We saw everything in about an hour, without rushing. Then we drove over to the adjacent arts and sciences museum, which we loved even more.

Beautiful for a wedding and reception. The stair case was most elegant for the bride walk down.

Loved this art museum, the largest collection of Florida art. Many cities are easily identified, St Augustine and Key West to name a couple, with lots of Florida greenery, water, animals, flora, and history. Very spacious venue, with a small museum gift shop and snacks. It was a nice hour and a half spent, and great for a rainy day.

It is always a fun time at this museum, MOAS is geared to children but I always like the train and car areas and the moving displays. The planetarium is always nice. The best thing I can say is about the patrons ! My daughter lost a small alligator her Grand Mother purchased at the git store. The item was returned to the front desk. This proves things from the past are valueable,

My wife loves art museums, so I tag along. I usually breeze through, try not to rush her, and fill the void staring at the architecture. This museum kept my interest from start to finish. I found the focus on Florida art a great way to understand the depth and breadth of Florida’s art influence. I highly recommend this museum. As a veteran, I didn’t know it was free on our visit, but the super informative lady at the counter enthusiastically welcomed my wife and I, and even gave me a salute. The architecture was also nice to look at.
