I visit the Guitar Center often, but most recently, it was to purchase a single guitar string. I wasn't sure if I could even purchase a single string, but they were ready and willing to help me out. The staff are always busy, but kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a music Store I would recommend to a friend!

If there was a heaven for musicians, this is it. Went there looking for an electric guitar and wow, the selection. It is amazing. From acoustics, to electric, to bass, to ukulele... Drums, pianos, bongos, new, used... Amazing sales! You really can't beat the price. Place is super clean, all the employees are like busy bees tending to the hive, they work cohesively. Purchased an electric guitar, amp, strap, picks, cord and stand because I knew, this is the place I would be returning to over and over again.

THE EMPLOYEES HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY ARE ALSO RUDE AND SHOULDNT BE IN A POSITION OF SERVICE. EVEN ON THE PHONE MOST LACK ALL SOCIAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE JOB. I EXPECT TO SPEAK WITH A PROFESSIONAL WHEN I ARRIVE OR CALL. HIRE BETTER STAFF THAT KNOW MUSIC.

The store manager is ridiculous and offensive. Wouldn't honor a warranty on a guitar that I bought last year and when I bought a new guitar he told me that the military discount was only for promotional offers. This is not the kind of person you want running a store he has no respect for people or service members

Terrible customer service. I recently purchased an entry level acoustic guitar online and then picked it up in stores, I went home excited to unbox my new guitar and found that the B string was snapped, this wasn't a big deal as I understood that strings snapping is common. However I do not know how to restring a guitar, so I called guitar center and asked if they would restring it and I was told that they would. I went in the store the next day and when I told an employee about the situation and then asked politely for a restring, he laughed in my face. He said that he could restring it and then walked off for a brief moment, when he returned he informed me that his manager said that they would not be restringing the guitar at all. His reasoning was vague and made hardly any sense at all. He was very disrespectful with the way he spoke to me, he claimed that asking for a restring was silly because snapped strings are a common issue. It would have taken maybe 10 minutes to put ONE string on the guitar that THEY sold to me with damaged strings. In conclusion, the employee I spoke to was incredibly rude, inconsiderate, and very disrespectful. People who have no common decency should not be employed in a position involving customer service.

Awesome store. Tons of instruments, and you can play them. Decent prices for the guitars, too. It's definitely worth a visit.

Heather is an excellent associate with a general knowledge on all products related to audio and guitar. Super interesting person and helpful with the multitude of questions I had regarding repair and mixers. Deserves a big fat raise!! Also as a woman, seriously nice to know us girls are still the best in the guitar game and sales/retail too!

I went in to look at BC Rich and found something better. While trying a couple smooth axes, Darien rubbed all the tension from my shoulders while explaining the different woods that made up the guitar. He was firm yet gentle and I felt safe and well informed. After he loosened me up, he offered to pull out his short scale he told me so much about. I took him up on this and he got it out for me to gaze upon. I quickly wrapped my hand around the neck and put my fingers in all the right places to make it sing. After taking his short scale for a test drive he continued to engage in a very pleasurable service experience. He took me to the acoustic guitar room where we were finally alone and surrounded by many mid priced guitars and the smell of cedar and dirty men. He took full control and needless to say really made me feel special with he strong, muscular physique. He also explained the number of financing options available in his deep non threatening voice. Unfortunately they didn't have the guitar I was looking for but I felt like I found something better. If you're looking for a hands on customer service experience, look no further then manager Darien. Satisfaction guaranteed!
