I’m so sad it has come to leaving a bad review because I’ve been bringing my dog to PetSmart for Grooming since 2023, this review is just for the visit today. All other times would be 5 stars. Anyways, today he got groomed and it was not what I asked for or very good. He had very long hair and I told them I want his cut to be how it is in the picture, which was a cut he got back in October from them (the lady who was grooming him HAD the picture I attached so she had a exact reference of what I wanted). I also explicitly said to not even his legs out, a couple weeks ago he had to get an IV in which they had to shave some hair off of his leg to place it. I understand it’s just hair and it grows back, but it’s the fact that I paid for a service and I’m not satisfied with the result. I didn’t say anything when I picked him up because the lady who groomed him was the sweetest (1 star for that) and it seemed like she knew she didn’t do a good job because of the reassurance she was seeking by asking if it was okay and saying she tried her best to get it like the picture, but the cut is nothing like the reference picture. She also said that she couldn’t get it exactly like the picture because of the difference in texture of hair, which was weird because that is him in the picture, I’m not sure if she thought it was a different dog or what not but I know that his hair texture didn’t change that dramatically in 6 months to the point where the hair cut wasn’t doable. As mentioned I’ve been going to petsmart grooming for the past 2 years and they always do an excellent job, this time it was just wasn’t good at all and I’m very disappointed. Yes it is temporary but it’s just nothing like what I asked for.

Sorry I didn’t get his name, but the heavy set guy at the register is very extra and rude. I placed an order before coming to the store but I wasn’t sure if it was ready. He asks if I got the notification and I said no but I honestly hadn’t refreshed my email. So I said that it was just for a bulb and he goes on and on about how they can’t do this and that, and how their store doesn’t do xyz. So at some point he goes to “check” to see if the order came in on his device and says that it didn’t. Before leaving I just decided to ask if I could cancel the order he says yeah. So I’m like, oh so you can see the orders then. He’s like no, and grabs a notepad. He asks the other lady if she got a notification and here they are both being extra with “no it just hasn’t come in..we have to wait blah blah”. It’s not what they were saying, it was just the dramatics. So anyway, I started walking in the store to find the item so I can buy it in there but then I thought to check my email again. When it refreshed the order said ready for pickup at 4:43…and here he is at 5:20 acting like he checked and talking about it’s not ready. I was not expecting to get irritated in Pet Smart and I only came bc it was an emergency, but I certainly won’t be back. Some of the most dramatic people I’ve met who don’t like to tell the truth either.

The grooming salon did a great job on our doggo. Tara was the groomer, and she was fantastic. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and offered great service. It was easy to book the grooming online. Now our boy is smelling and looking good. No more tangles!!

Nearby store that we bought dog 🐕 💩 poop bags. Assistance lacked due to an attitude of the female employee. We knew it was late, and closure was soon, but it was a bit of a problem with this shopping experience.

They told me they won’t take my dog because she’s too old… she’s been going for a while and we haven’t had this problem in NJ. Only this one won’t take her… disappointing

Grooming salon has become unavailable. The store changed its policy to walk-in for nail grinding. But when you "walk-in, they don't have time for you. Petco has been far more accommodating and friendly.

I only went there to see their cats. I plan on adopting an adult cat soon, so I wanted to visit with a few. They didn't have any because the 3 they had were already adopted. That's great news and so I'll check back as well as check other places.

This has been the cleanest PetSmart I have been in. The store was very clean and organized. The one that's by my house is a mess compared to this location and if I didn't live 25 mins away I would shop here.
