Great place for families or retirees- big rooms and decent prices, staff is amazing and me and my family have stayed here for the past 10 years and I always enjoy my stay and love the fact of you won’t see drunkenness and misconduct from other people staying, Christian owed and they have shuffleboard, playground, basketball, cornhole and an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub and a cafe for snacks and drinks- close to a grocery store and the rooms have everything so you can eat in- saving $$$ on food from restaurants. The only thing I wish they’d add is an air fryer( I brought my own this last visit). Thank you SunViking!!!

I want to take this opportunity to tell the owner that I dealt with a wonderful young woman named Heavenly. Not only did she handle our reservation the day before we arrived but also checked us in and was very informative. We were accompanied by my daughter and granddaughter who booked through a 3rd party. (Booking.com I would not recommend using them ever.) there reservation was being held up and Heavanly took the initiative to call booking.com and handle it personally. She deserves a big raise

The room was very old, dirty, and smelled musty. I certainly wouldn't book it again. Right on the beach and not expensive, but not worth the money.

Room filthy. Room smelled. 2 inches dust on ceiling fan. Had to go to office for toilet paper. No room service to speak of. No house keeping to speak of. Pool cafe closed. No food or drinks. Had to go to store always. Been there number of times previously. NEVER AGAIN . Beware before booking.

This place is a safety hazard. While my daughter and I were in the room, pieces of the concrete roof fell onto the balcony floor and below pool. These were large pieces that could create serious injuries. The hotel is dirty and very very old. Plywood sheets boarding up windows. This place should be shut down. Be aware of fake reviews.

Even though this resort is small and the rooms aren't all that, it's a great stay for a family vacation. The staff really tries to help you have fun with their itinerary of games and events throughout the day. The room could have used a thorough dusting, but it had plenty of space for 7 and included a kitchenette area to make our own food. There's an on-site grill, indoor & outdoor pools, and it was only a few steps onto the beach. We had a weeks worth of fun at this place! I would stay again.😁

It was my first time staying here and honestly it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in town. Heaven helped with the check in and she was very helpful and friendly.

1. Our suite room was not made up on check-in.
2. The next room we were transferred to had a completely broken door lock, and the room was a downgrade from what we had originally booked.
3. Despite confirming with us twice that they would fix the door the following day, they never did.
I get it— life happens. But a partial refund for the downgraded room, or maybe for the inconveniences too, would have been the right thing to do. Nothing of the sort was offered to us.
Some positives: front desk was pleasant, hotel had a cute charm, parking was a breeze, and property was quiet.

Sad to see that this place has gone downhill. No waterslide and broken jacuzzi with blocked off access...neither of which were revealed during booking. Everyone was crammed inside of one indoor pool. The staff seemed burned out and miserable to be there. Witnessed a housekeep screaming/cussing into phone that the hotel is "mold infested" and she had just put in her 2 week notice which at that point, did not surprise me. Prices at Viking Kafe increased tremendously. Alcohol is now served which has changed the whole vibe of what was once "family oriented". The foul language, jumping off fountain into pool, and rough play was absolutely ridulous especially since there were already so many bodies in the pool that you could hardly move. Went to front desk for more shampoo on the 2nd day and were told that they were out. What a joke. This place went from being the best to the worst....shame on whoever is behind it!
