We explored some nice trails and there is also a pier on the St. John's River. This is a great place to see Longleaf and Slash Pine habitat as well as deer and turkey. The restroom is a port-a-let and we did not use it, so I have no idea if it was OK.

It's nice and quiet, there is a good place to fish if you like fishing, no trails to hike just the road in and out.

Would give a higher rating but there was an active hunt going on and didn't go through the trails

We went camping at the River Road Campground. We're had it all to ourselves. The pit toilet was surprisingly cleaned and not too terrible. Great wildlife viewing. Couldn't launch a kayak due to so much vegetation in the water. I love it and hope to go back.

Great trail with lots of changes in a short amount of time. We had a little picknick and spent several hours there. Bring the bug spray and plenty of water.

Very nice fishing pier. There was even some sunken wrecks just off the end of the dock to attract fish!!. Lovely wild life. We saw the biggest moccasin ever on the side of the road. Be careful to watch where you step
