“Very thorough and helpful without being pushy like other vets I have been to. He explained things to me and let me decide what tests to have done and what remedies to pursue. I brought my 12 1/2 year old dog in as she was in pain and I did not know why. He told me what he thought it might be and what tests we could do and I decided to have xrays done and it showed widespread arthritis and fused vertebrae. We chose to try a supplement over stronger medications to see if that will help as she is sensitive to a lot of medications and has reactions.”

“Paul has taken care of our animal babies since we moved to DeLand in the late nineties. We did move to NC for a few years but when we came back to DeLand he continued with their care. He even saved the life of our golden retriever, Gale, when she was very sick. She lived for many more years afterward. Paul has now retired as he deserves. We will miss him tremendously on the professional level but hopefully will continue to see him on Sundays.”

“Wow I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. I ended up here in an emergency visit with my dog who tends to be fear reactive and hasn’t allowed any past vet to get close enough to touch him. Dr Schrager worked super gently with him and was able to get respirations and pulse which is an incredible step in a good direction! He’s also fed a home cooked diet ( which is typically a disagreement at any other clinic), but they were super happy to hear that we feed real, human grade food. Both Dr and Tally were transparent through the entire appointment about treatment options. Even working at a different vet clinic myself, I will be opting to bring my dogs strictly here for any future visits. “Both my feline & canine pets have recieved stellar care & attention at this veterinary clinic. They stand out from the crowd because of their commitment to healing & the quality of staff they employ (clinical & admin). The office/admin staff are expedient & never miss a follow-up call. They have even called me, as a courtesy, to check-in with my animals when they noticed an ER visit over the weekend. The vets & vet techs on site are educated, knowledgable, & ensure my pets comfort during procedures, also taking into account the nerves of the pet parent by patiently answering numerous questions during office visits.

Another obvious stand-out point is that they have animal whisperers on staff that can tame even the wildest of cranky cats & trim the nails of the most finicky canines! They are well-trained, compassionate, and professional.
