Volusia Speedway Park is a popular racing destination located just 15 miles west of Daytona Beach and 50 miles north of Orlando, Florida. It is home to the best dirt racers in Florida and the Southeast Region, who compete every Saturday night from March to October. The venue also hosts the annual DIRTcar Nationals in February, attracting hundreds of racers and thousands of fans from across the US, Canada, and Europe. NASCAR stars are known to take on the track's banked 1/2 mile clay oval, with NASCAR personality Kenny Wallace being a former feature winner. Visitors praise the excellent local staff, reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere, and entertaining races. First dirt track race. Enjoyed it for what they had. Larger than the track I frequented with a figure 8 as well for demo derby.
