“We've been sending our elder son to Goddard (LM/Heathrow) since last September and couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Mrs. Priya, Mrs. Samantha, Mrs. April, and the other teachers have shown genuine care and attentiveness towards the kids. Whenever incidents occurred, the teachers took prompt and effective measures to address the issues and kept us informed immediately. It's clear they genuinely care for the children and aren't just running a daycare as a business.We've seen our son making positive progress every day, which reassures us of their commitment to his development. “I am so beyond grateful I found such a wonderful place for my daughter. She isn’t quite 2 years old but her class and the entire school are centered around education. I am glad she isn’t just being “watched”, but being taught and played with. The entire staff is incredible- always opening the door with a smile! Natalie runs the best center and I will never send my daughter anywhere else!”

“I'm writing this review as we sadly are closing out our time with the wonderful TLE-Heathrow school due to starting Kindergarten next year. We have trusted the professionalism, care, and attention of every single teacher, staff member and director at TLE with two of our kids. From her time in the infant room to now graduating from VPK, my daughter has recently tested as a gifted learner and I have to give credit to the structured curriculum provided by TLE and it's many programs to support child development from age 0-5. We made a choice 5 years ago to enlist our children in this school and to now see the positive impact it's had for our family is a parent's dream. Thank you TLE, Mrs. Sheelah and all the wonderful teachers. We'll miss you!”

The whole staff has been great and make us feel at home giving us reassurance that our son is well taken care of. Mrs Millie has an open communication with the parents and always include us to feel part of the community and events. “I can not think of enough kind words to describe this school. My granddaughter Amyra has been in the care of these wonderful ladies since she was 8 months old. They love her like their own. Amyra will be 3 and she has excelled. She knows all her colors and her alphabet, shapes and is counting. They have already begun teaching her days of the week.i have read some of the bad reviews and this has just not been our experience with these professional ladies. Just yesterday when we arrived at school my granddaughter ran to one of her teachers, Miss Liberty and hugged her legs. I feel compelled to add that Amyra is mixed race due to that completely false claims of racism that have been made against Ms. Kristen. Amyra beams at all her caregivers there. Ms. Kristen, Ms DonnaMs. Salome, Ms. Kim Ms Wanda and Ms Raphaela feeds them so well!!! We were truly blessed to have found this school for our most precious little girl. Ladies, you have a job that is often times thankless. Which is unfortunate because you love and care for othe peoples children as if they were your own. From my family to you all THANK YOU for LOVING AMYRA THE WAY WE DO. Keep up the good work.”

“First off, we LOVE this place and the staff! Our little girl is in the 3 year old class and has been at LPA since she was a very young two. The learning she’s done here has been amazing! So much more than colors, numbers, and alphabet. Her social skills, relationships, self esteem have all grown leaps and bounds. They’ve cultivated a love for learning within her... and for that I am so grateful! I leave her daily knowing that she is engaged, safe, loved, and well cared for! That’s huge!The Brightwheel app is used daily and we enjoy seeing everything she has done during her day and being able to instantly communicate with her teachers as well as administration.The center is one of the cleanest in the mornings and evenings... the in-between is obviously filled with small children making big messes during learning through play... and that is as it should be. If you want your child to come home perfect, pressed, and not dirty from an epic day of play and learning, this isn’t the center for you!I was an educator for almost 2 decades. I did most of my career in Early Childhood prior to receiving my Masters and PhD. That said, I’ve seen my share of educational centers and providers. In an ocean of choices, I can say with confidence that this LPA location has some of THE BEST & most awesome, passionate teachers who become like an extension of the family! They also have a supportive Director & Assistant Director! They’re constantly in and out of classrooms supporting teachers & always ready to lend a hand. The Director is one of the most kind, personable, and down to earth ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! I’ve also never been made to feel unimportant or like admins don’t care. On the contrary, they inquire about how we are, how work is going, and always tell us if there’s anything they can help us with to let them know.Should be noted that this location is an older building. It could be said that LPA could stand to renovate this location HOWEVER, it’s safe, clean, and functional and is a fantastic place for young children to learn and grow! We will be happily sending our youngest boy here in the spring! Keep up the great job, LPA!! We love you!!”

“I read a recent review and decided to shed some light on a sad reality in the childcare business. I have owned 6 centers in the area going on 22 years. We haven't been doing it this long on accident. These days parents can be more difficult to manage than children. We can work with children in redirecting behavior or issues like potty training. When a child for example reaches the age of 5 it is time to have a difficult and frank discussion with parents about doing their part at home so the child doesn't enter public school wearing a pull up. Parents from time to time will not work with us and become defensive. Sadly these days personal responsibility is a tough pill for folks to swallow. At the end of a long process it becomes a reality that we ask a parent to find alternative childcare. If a parent struggles with personal responsibility we know what will come next........ lashing out and false complaints that go nowhere. It is a sad place we have arrived as a society but we will love and care for children as we have for over 20 years and move forward as usual. It can be a thankless job on some days but still worthwhile!”
