“Woodland Animal Clinic is a family owned clinic. I have been there twice now and the way they treat every person and animal that comes through the door is great. The person on the front desk is awesome at her job and you can tell she really cares by the questions that are asked. For instance when they weight a dog they first ask permission if the dog can have treats and the dogs seem at ease around them. When they answer the phone the first question they ask is if it is a emergency or not and they remember the regular people and pets names.I searched on Google reviews before I decided to bring my cat here and the other reviews do paint a true picture, it is a smaller size clinic apart from the great quality of service is the reason it is so highly rated.”

“I have been bringing my doggie here for almost 5 years already, and the staff have always been friendly, attentive, and helpful in person or over the phone. The waiting area is quite small, though, just like their parking lot, but their service compensates for all that. When making an appointment, rest assured they will try their very best to get your pet seen as soon as possible. So definitely very accommodating in that aspect.Prices are pretty much give or take the same as everywhere else you go to.”

“I had to put my dog down yesterday, it happened at Lake Mary Vet. I really did not want to do it, the vet gave me options, but it was quiet and peaceful, but also time. My poodle fell asleep in my arms, she was peacefully euthanized. My heart is broken, there is no right time. This was the right place and people. I knew what I had to do, she was managed with a serious condition for over a year, she had a good quality of life until recently. That was also because of them.”

“We took our dog to Dr. Beckman and his staff for an ongoing dental issue on the recommendation of our primary vet. The staff was great to speak with and answered all of our questions and concerns before they took our dog back for his exam. As a specialist there is always the concern of costs. The total costs were in line with their estimate and was not as much as I expected. We were provided detailed explanation of the work that was done to address his pain afterwards along with pictures to show that type of issues Wally was dealing with. It was eye opening to see why our dog was so miserable and how much he was probably dealing with for months. Wally was noticeably more comfortable a couple of days later and was almost back to his happy go lucky self after a few weeks. I absolutely recommend Dr. Beckman and his staff if you need a dental specialist.”

The vet we saw was extraordinary; our dog is, well let's just say, not vet-friendly after negative experiences at Pet Alliance with a vet who apparently is burning out. The vet at Lake Mary was so calm and took a few minutes to talk with us before he even touched our Yorkie and then did so gently matter-of-factly (is that a word? lol). We were stunned that she didn't go psycho! He didn't try to "enhance the bill" by doing anything unnecessary and put us at ease that although she's a senior dog, she's doing ok. I highly recommend this clinic.”
