I have been to this salon several times and always ask for a mani/pedi but if I get dip powder for color I never get the mani just a polish change basically and I’m charged $93…. Doesn’t a mani include soaking my nails cutting my cuticles and a hand massage? Never again will I come back here

I had one of the worst salon experiences of my life at Celebrity Nail Spa in Deerfield Beach. I visited on May 16, 2025, and paid $111.24 for a manicure and pedicure, plus a $10 tip in cash. I was the last customer of the day, and the male technician rushed through my service without care. The polish was uneven, messy, and didn’t look professional at all — but I had somewhere to be that evening, so I didn’t have time to stay and get it redone.
I returned on May 20th around 11:30 AM for a color correction. When I walked in, the same man yelled across the room, “Come back in 30 minutes,” without even greeting me politely. When I returned, I immediately felt uncomfortable. The staff kept speaking in another language and laughing while looking at me. I used a translation app to catch what they were saying and was shocked to hear the male technician make a highly inappropriate comment: “I don’t know if she’s going to like it — maybe she just likes men holding her hand.”
I turned to him and said, “Actually, no. I don’t like men holding my hand. I want the woman to do it.” I said that so he would know I heard what he said — and that it was totally unacceptable. I didn’t come in to be sexualized, mocked, or disrespected. I came in as a paying customer seeking a simple service correction.
I am a woman of color who appears younger than I am, and I truly believe they judged me from the moment I walked in. Their behavior changed when they realized I wasn’t going to spend more money, and the way I was treated afterward was completely unprofessional.
This salon lacks basic respect, hospitality, and customer service — and I would never return or recommend them to anyone. People deserve to be treated with kindness and dignity, especially when they’re spending over $100 on a beauty service.

Had an appointment. Waited over 1/2 an hour and finally put in a pedicure chair. Waited another 15 min, still no water or nail tech. Finally walked out because I had to be somewhere else. It’s a shame because this has always been where I go for mani/pedi.
Never again.

I just moved to this area and was looking for a salon , the lady upfront was the most rude person . I asked if she takes walk in she said yes but immediately told me they are busy , there was only 2 customers, I asked what time they can service me, she said at 2pm but on her way for her to reserve I have to pay 50% in advance , I said it’s the first time I hear that and she said very un polite THATS how we work here so if you don’t like , so I asked is she speaks Spanish ( I am latina ) and I explained that I want to reserve why she wanna made me pay in advance , I don’t don’t is she discriminate or she didn’t want to work , but to the manager of owner of that chain ( I don’t know if a chain) they didn’t to train better their personnel to be nice with customers or have some kinda of education I know unfortunately nowadays courtesy is not considered important but to work with customers ypu need at least to have some kindness and education and know how to speak to customers, if the business wamt to have good reviews , shame on that lady that maybe is better of working una warehouse where she does not have to deal with customers

Hello, I wanted to get my nails done for thanksgiving. I had a horrible experience. Let me explain, I asked for brown and white French tips with an almond shape and a nude base. Plus a simple line design. The ladies wouldn't even look at my picture. I was getting service from the manager at first and she put the nails half on and damaged my cuticles with the drill. It was super uncomfortable. She wasn't listening to me and put white a sparkly base and I told her that's not what I wanted. Then she told me purple would look better and started putting purple on my nails. I said again that's not what I wanted I explained and showed her the picture. She sent me to another nail artist and then I explained it all over to this new assistant. So she took some of the polish off and then started doing a very pink base. I told her I wanted a nude or clear base. Then she put silver on my nails. After all of that they still tried charging me $85. I was there for 3hours trying to be patient. They were rude and weren't listening to what I wanted.

Manicure dipped Oh my gosh this was the worst she left dip all under and around my nails and skin they look so unnatural I'm still trying to separate the skin from the piles of excess My pedicure just as bad I didn't even notice because I had been there for So long all I wanted to do was go home but after my shower this morning I saw she missed 1 of my small toes I had a very light pink so in the dark I didn't notice in the long end they charged me $90 bucks not counting the tip I used a card and unhappy went on my way,so after my friend that just had hers done a couple of days before told me it was $73 with the tip included I never second guessed it Well never ever again and I will be going back Monday to get some of my money back and have her paint to toe that was missed

I have thought long and hard about leaving this review. I was utterly disappointed and quite frankly disgusted. It was a busy place and we had made an appointment for two pedicures for myself and my sister. The service was average at best but what really got me was when the nail technician used hand sanitizer to spray the tools being used. Not an autoclave like all the other places I have had my nails done at. She thankfully opened a new package of scrub and some wooden disposable tools, but all the clippers and cuticle cutters etc were just sprayed with sanitizer. That’s disgusting. When she grabbed the flat metal cheese grater to exfoliate heels. I refused as that had not at all been sanitized. She got grumpy at me and spoke in another language to the other nail technicians. All in all I walked away pretty grossed out and with toe nails that ended up getting chipped in a day.
And the last thing I will mention cautiously as I don’t know how things are handled down in Florida, is that when we walked in two people of colour were sitting waiting to be served. We were pushed in front of them as was every other white person that walked in, appointment or not. The two People of colour sat and waited for over an hour without being served. While 8+ other caucasion women were brought through. I don’t know the circumstances behind this and maybe it was nothing at all. But to me There was an obvious stark contrast between how these two groups of people were being treated.

This place is conveniently located next to Massage Envy. I was going in for an afternoon massage so I figured I would drop into Celebrity Nails just before to make an appointment for later (when I was to get out of my massage). As I approached the door, I was overwhelmed by intense chemical odor/fumes emanating from the doorway. Ventilation was extremely poor to the point that I decided to pass on the appointment. I checked Yelp for nearby alternatives & went somewhere else to save my lungs.

Disgusting and horrible??
I walked in and asked if the lady knew how to do acrylics she Said yes and asked me for the Inspo, I showed her and asked how much It'd be and she said 70! I sit in the chair and she sits on the phone for 30 minutes before starting, the owner walks up and demands I get longer nails because my natural nails were to short- the lady doing my nails starts filing reallyhard scraping my fingers with a flie she got out her personal stuff and none of the supplies she used on me was cleaned and I watched her pass it to someone else to use. The towel that she put on the table was covered with nails and nail debries. She then cuts the nails all different sizes and free hands the French tip and when I asked her to make it darker or change the color she told me no and said she already did, and then when we went to pay she tried to charge me 80 when I said no she gave herself a tip and took 92 dollars out my account after I already payed her 77
