I had popped a tire on a trail nearby and wanted a quick fix. We came in and they had us in and out within 15 minutes. Cool place, very nice, and great service.

I'm going to start by saying that my not-so-great experience was partially my fault. I will admit I was a bit lazy and didn't do the work myself.I dropped the bike off and was talked into a "Basic Tuneup" for $84.99, $90.94 after taxes.I may have misunderstood, however I believed I was getting the bike cleaned up and new brake pads among other things.I had also asked that my cycle computer (speedometer/odometer) be checked to get it working properly.I knew there was a problem with the rear wheels I fully expected additional charges to fix that.I received a call later that day explaining what I needed for parts. It seems I needed a tire and a cassette for the rear wheel. I agreed to the parts.I was also told that the bike computer could not be fixed. I agreed to a replacement for $55.Further I was told I could pick the bike up the next day. When I arrived the next day none of the work had been done.I had to wait in the store while the cassette and tire were assembled. Then the new cycle computer had to be installed. I had to ask for the old one back, I'm honestly not sure if they were going to keep it or throw it away.I had to pay an additional $188 for the parts, computer and labor. When I got the bike outside I could see it was still dirty and the brake pads were the same old ones.Later I looked at the old computer and figured out that it just needed a battery. They could have fixed it, and sold me a new one instead because I believed what they told me, that it could not be fixed.Later I looked at where the new computer was installed on the center of the handlebars. I was told at the shop that was where it had to be put. I figured out on my own that it could have been installed on the side of the handlebars where I wanted it. I was not given any option for this. A high quality shop didn't know how to adjust the bracket to allow for mounting options. So I am wondering what the $90 basic tuneup got me?Since I paid for all the parts and labor and nothing else was done I'm confused as to what the tuneup money was for.Again, I admit I was lazy and didn't try to fix everything myself. I paid for a new computer when all the old one needed was a battery and a high quality bike shop could not discern the problem. The shop was nice while taking my money and making me wait for the work to be done.As much as I like the idea of supporting a local business I am concerned that others may make the same mistakes I did.I admit I made a mistake on this.I should have fixed it myself.Reply to owners reply....No damage on the cycle computer screen. I will leave it at that.

Unfortunately Jim no longer owns this store and it has new owner.. Sadly I can no longer bring my bike here as these owners are horrible. Took my bike in for a simple fix and they kept my bike for over 2 weeks only to tell me it would have to be sent out to be fixed for $250. Took it to another shop and they fixed it for $75. Very rude, not helpful, their only focus is putting together new bikes to sell.

I am not sure what star i should place, so I will go with 3 for now. I stopped in while driving by, saw many bike shops that day. I will give my loyalty to a local bike shop over chain any day. This place seemed cool, , they seemed knowledgeable about bikes, but the shop looked like it was still be organized and lacked inventory. I was going to return and buy a bike but now after all the 1-star reviews - I am a little hesitate. Their prices are all about the same as everyone else so the most important thing to me is service. I need a place where the owner will stand behind its customers, so do they?
