Took my little Maltese for a full grooming, nails and teeth appointment. I checked her in just to receive a phone call 1 hour after I left her that they would not provide the service because my Maltese was having her period and it was against company policy. By that time I was very far and my wife was getting ready to leave her work in the middle of the day to pick up the dog. I managed to go back to the store at the cost of canceling important commitments. When I returned to Petco I graciously accepted some justification behind the cancelled services (arguing the dog would be sensitive in some areas, etc.). Yet, I thought that all waste of time, gas, etc. could have been avoided if her condition had been checked at the time the appointment was set or at check-in the latest. But to add insult to injury, back at home I noticed that they had already started the grooming and then stopped, leaving my little dog with a bad shaved streak on the top of her back! They didn't even mentioned the fact that they had already started and stopped midway when I picked up the dog. Probably hoping I would not notice... (how could I? Look at the attached pictures!). This is not only unprofessional, as it is disrespectful!!! Once again, shame on you. Petco!!! I am disgusted! Whatever happened to service excellence in America???!

I had an appt today for a simple nail trim for my dog, and the receptionist said that my little girl had a scar on her back they couldn't trim her nails?! Imagine what does your back have to do with nails? If I have scar on my stomach does that mean I cannot get a mani pedi? The middle-aged blonde receptionist was quite rude, and laughed when we left. I'll be contacting corporate tomorrow.

I went in looking for a good brand of dog food and Carole directed me to a very good brand. My dog ate and licked his bowl clean for the first time in along time. He is 13 and very picky about his food. It is Whole Hearted Simply Blend dog food. Carole is very knowledgeable and friendly.

The grooming department is super rude. Tried to make an appointment online for just a nail trim, said it was only walk ins. Tried calling the grooming department multiple times, no answer. Finally decided to take my dog in and just do walk in, met by a rude staff member who clearly had better things to do. Was told I had to make an appointment, I tried to tell her that the website said it was walk in, and I had tried to call. Uninterested in helping. The girl was clearly more interested in going outside to sit on her phone and take a break than offering real help. This place is just terrible, every time I try to go there, it's always an issue.

I has excited when they opened Approx. 6 years ago as they had an excellent owner and great selection of dog food , toys .sales and grooming services and then it all took a downward spiral in 2020 , they had poor selection of dog food / overpriced toys ,no sales poor customer service . they opened up an in store Vet clinic and I tried it x2 and was upset that they took my dog into an exam room and would not let me accompany him ,the vet tech. came and told me that he needed to stay for a few hours as they needed to run tests as he was too hyper I was reluctant but agreed and overheard another tech. speaking to a dog owner about that the dog had an eye infection and was giving eye med. instr. ,I left was called 4-5 laters to P/u my dog only to find out he was never let out of a crate given no meds paid $$$$$$ and after was home he had an eye infection ,the holding area is dirty ,not cleaned . My next visit approx. 2 yrs. later was urgent and once again my dog was taken away into an exam room w/o me , I waited and was told that he needed RLE /knee surgery and must have labs and come back the next day for x-ray /CT scan and be sedated !!! I asked about a price and the staff was rude that I asked , I was charged $$$$ for the visit and sm. amt. of meds //labs . I did not return and my dog recovered thru massage therapy , much to my surprise my dog got a keloid to his LLE from labs and if it gets rubbed or he is playing rough it bleeds all over . Pet Owners stay Away !!!!!

Dear god, do yourself a favor and only go here for dog food, the Petco Vet department is run terribly, horribly kept, one room smells like cat litter the other smells like a wet dog, there's apparently no ventilation or air conditioning the ambient temp felt like it was hotter then outside. The staff are rude, the doctors don't even get me started, there's one with a heavy accent, the worst unprofessional person I've ever met in my entire life

Our experience at Petco was wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone who is unsure about nutrition for their dogs, please ask for Caitlyn. She is very knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything to us.

I popped in to pick up 2 items. Easy right? No, it was a pain in my you know what.The store is not organized and finding an associate to assist was not easy. To be blunt, the store is a nightmare. In my opinion their prices are HIGH. Much more expensive than Pet Supermarket and Petsmart. I did leave with my two items but it was more of a hassle than what it was worth. They offer curbside pickup which is great, in case I have to come back for any reason. My high point was getting a decaf Frappuccino at the Starbucks located in the same plaza. Located on the NE corner of Powerline and Hillsboro in the Target & Hobby Lobby plaza.

My First time today on Petco grooming, my dog didn’t get her ears cleaned and she doesn’t look like she had a bath. Her fur is yellow. She always gets white when she has a bath. She was matted and only got her fur taken out!. She only got some spray mist on some parts of her body. Be aware

The cut was great but the belly was cut too short. Made her itch profusely for a few days but she's ok now. The groomer nor I knew this would happen so I'm not mad about it.
