I am rating this specific petco as excellent. I needed my dog nail trimmed and went to the petco near my home- with horrible customer service kept telling me to come back later when they weren’t busy after telling me what time they could see us. Anyway, the petco in Deerfield was wonderful! They couldn’t take us on the spot but gave us an appointment to come back. At our appt- the groomer was loving and greeted us right away and did a fantastic job( even with black nails!) as i was waiting i was watching the store and the way the employees were cleaning the animals for adoption was beautiful. The store is clean and employees were helpful. A++++

The staff at the actual store were great! Very friendly and helpful! I was two days late on the return date policy. The store was willing to take back the pet food and give a store credit which was real nice BUT the “system and corporate” would not allow it when I called. That is ridiculous and a poor policy to not give some leeway. It was two days and I was going to use the store credit to buy another brand food and now can’t process the return at all. It’s a shame you don’t treat your customers like Chewy and Petsmart. You would have a lot more customers roaming the aisles if you did! Pretty empty always. What a shame.

adopted my 2 first rats pancake and waffle here :) the staff was super helpful and they’re both rly healthy. i also got a lot of my supplies here

Staff was extremely knowledgeable and took the extra steps to make sure my kids got what they needed. I told them if the fish were taken care of they could get bunny!

I love this store! All the employees are top-notch and so helpful! I also love to see how much they love every animal that comes in.

We visit this store about every 2 weeks to get fresh food for our dog Yogi. The food was in stock and checkout was easy. The employees are always nice and helpful. And we love the Petco Rewards program as it saves us money. Thank you Petco!
