My bank account information was not put in correctly by Larry Pratt. He instead put the bank’s phone number into the account number and the same for the routing number. We have been trying to resolve this problem for a month now being today this day the refund will come in to the next day to the next. Nothing! Then copped an attitude and tried to gaslight my wife about how provided the bank number as our routing and bank account number. He admitted several times he knew the number was too short on both and never verified anything after. Now we still don’t have our money after being told 7 different times it would hit the bank. We are NOT happy and will not be back! We are still trying to get our money! This man needs to be fired! Others have complained about him too.

They entered my wife's information wrong (larry pratt) and has had an attitude when we are trying to fix it and we aren't talking about a little bit of money either they are incompetent fr never go here. H&R BLOCKS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO US NOT THIS LOCATION

Place is a joke and the Manager if that’s what you want to call him is unprofessional. My wife took our taxes up there and after them not being done right in my opinion she went back to get our W2’s so we could take them somewhere else. The manager would not give them to her and said she owed them money for the work they did (which was nothing). We never signed anything and did not agree with the return. So I drove up to talk to him right off the bat he was very unprofessional. I asked for my W2’s and he would not give them to me and said he didn’t have them. He stated I was an online customer which we were not and we gave them our W2’s. After a long discussion and not getting anywhere because he thinks he knows everything I left and call the corporate office. I was right he can’t keep my W2’s and if I’m dissatisfied with the amount of the return or feel it’s not right, we do not have to pay a dime and can get our documents back. Corporate complaints department said it is illegal. I called the police department and they said this has been an on going thing with this Manager. They said they were in and out of there everyday. My question is how is this guy still a manager and running a H&R Block. I see enough complaints I would expect H&R Block to do something.

Kept my taxes almost 2 weeks. Never got back to say he could'nt do them and charged me 179.00 for nothing! Will never go back ..

We have used this for 22 plus years. This one office. Since the new store manager has been there it has been nothing but a problem. For one we had to sit completely across the room so we couldn't see the screen where our taxes were being done. The store manager would not let the tax pro Jose do his job. The manager would literally move the tax pros hands off the key board and start doing stuff on the computer. At one point he told the tax pro to change a number so we would get more back. When we asked what he was doing he said just trust me. Well after all that and waiting for a refund and contacting the IRS , because H and R block wouldn't help, to find out that we owed taxes. That's funny because I am on SSDI and don't get paid that much. Also my SSDI is not taxable because we make less. So I have a complaint against this manager and have had one for over a week now. I called the main office today to see what was going on and they told me that complaints go to the store manager. Well guess what, if it's about the manager he will not call his customers and fix the problem. I have a suggestion, fire him because it looks like I am not the only one complaining about him. Oh and by the way we paid for the protection also. Jackson Hewitt just got new customers.

Our Defuniak Springs, FL H&R Block, Vanessa, Bill, Jose and (Chantel Tallahassee.) All of the above mentioned went FAR, FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND! They were patient with me and extremely knowledgeable! There were some issues on my behalf they went out of their way to correct and fix them I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SOGOOD IN MY LIFE! Not by any company I have ever dealt within my 50 plusyears and that's a lot of companies over time. Very unprofessional. This is the 2nd year using them. The guy who greeted us was rude from the beginning. And as my spouse and mother were getting their paperwork done, he would be behind his workers telling them what to do instead of allowing them to do their work. He even came up behind his workers and started rearranging their pictures on their desk while my mom was getting her work done. Also, my mom had a few questions and instead of listening to her, he just interrupted her ignoring what she was saying. They don’t talk you through the whole system, and at the end he just said oh you owe this and todays fee is this. Instead of explaining how they got to that point or anything really. Will not be returning next year.

Being using H&R many years but not happy with today rushed you through and used a person in training to do return did not explain how they came with the amount and when you pay 653 dollars you would like to more explained not happy

Not a fan. Mans wife likes to sit behind him the whole time a return is being worked, she is not an employee. They are rude as can be and like to file returns certain way without clients knowledge. Will not file here. Terrible

The manager here is rude and condescending. I did my taxes there twice and decided to never go back.
