Post Offices in DeFuniak Springs, FL

“So far, my experience has gone very well with this post office. I have a new build home so I had a question about where to put the mailbox and unlike some other post offices I’ve tried to call, they answered immediately and explained the process. After going to put in the address registration and a little confusion about where to place the mailbox still, the postmaster himself (I think) came out to the house to ensure I had the right information and placed a flag where the mailbox needed to go, as well as inform me that I didn’t have to face my mailbox towards my house like some neighbors are doing (I was concerned the carrier would start driving through the grass in my yard since the county owns the setback— he informed me that’s not the case).

After seeing so many negative reviews, I’ll be sure to come back and edit if I have any other concerns. Again, I appreciate the man who came out in person to make sure I had the right information.

Edit: After some time, my review is unchanged. If you ever have any issues with your mail, just speak with the postmaster. He is extremely customer service oriented and is genuine in his efforts to help.”
