Refusing to deliver my package, called to see what the problem was and it was my dogs. This time I went outside to her van to get the package from her (like I was told to do) and she throws her hand up at me and drives away!

Slow to open, but fast and courteous when they do

The mail carriers are not reliable. They just don't deliver our packages because of my dogs. The signs clearly state where to leave packages to avoid any issues with the dogs

I went up to the post office today after having a package float through the system for 4 days of showing out for delivery, and then being held for pickup, and then delayed delivery, and out for delivery again. I've never had a problem before or made any complaints. However, the gentleman that assisted me made it seem as though this whole problem was my fault. He went through a whole series of questions asking me if I recently moved, if I had changed my address, and if I had perhaps received the package and didn't realize it along with my other packages. So much for the customer is assumed as always right. I don't think I should have to go through interrogations and made to feel like I'm lying or incompetent. I didn't make a special trip and go up there unprepared. I had moved over a week ago, but I wouldn't have ordered a package through Amazon to my old address, so that had nothing to even do with it. It had absolutely no relevance to my mail being forwarded or not. So, I have just went through Amazon who helped me without any hesitation and issued a replacement for the items I've been waiting for. Hopefully I get them this time.

So far, my experience has gone very well with this post office. I have a new build home so I had a question about where to put the mailbox and unlike some other post offices I’ve tried to call, they answered immediately and explained the process. After going to put in the address registration and a little confusion about where to place the mailbox still, the postmaster himself (I think) came out to the house to ensure I had the right information and placed a flag where the mailbox needed to go, as well as inform me that I didn’t have to face my mailbox towards my house like some neighbors are doing (I was concerned the carrier would start driving through the grass in my yard since the county owns the setback— he informed me that’s not the case).
After seeing so many negative reviews, I’ll be sure to come back and edit if I have any other concerns. Again, I appreciate the man who came out in person to make sure I had the right information.
Edit: After some time, my review is unchanged. If you ever have any issues with your mail, just speak with the postmaster. He is extremely customer service oriented and is genuine in his efforts to help.

One mail lady just awful uses her status to itemidate, post master threatening to hold our mail hostage if I complained about my issue with her!!! Mike is the Post Master. We have always gotten along with all the other carriers! The newer carriers do need more training because we do get others mail sometimes, though!!!

Worse postal service ever! Numerous times they have “lost my mail”, somehow they can refuse to deliver mail and only deliver when the post person decides they want to deliver, will leave packages in the rain to get soaked and are extremely rude and lazy! I’m working on reporting them higher up than the local postal office. It’s gotten absolutely ridiculous and they all need to be fired.

Note in mailbox says "sorry we missed you while you were out" sat home all day waiting on a large package that requires a signature and they never even came to the door or in driveway. Ring cameras everywhere and not a sign of USPS, so do they think I live in my mailbox or are they just to lazy to actually do their job ? Now I have to call sender for a refund because not going to play games on whether I'll receive my package or not. Someone really needs to be fired because this happens often to several people I have spoken with.

My father is dying of glioblastoma brain cancer & a package ended up the DeFuniak Springs facility per the tracking. I called the USPS automated line & their tracking shows it is at that facility. So my brother went by with the tracking number to pick it up, & a very rude employee refused to assist him or even look up the package using the tracking number to verify where it was for us if it isn't actually there. I believe there is a special place in hell for ghoulish human beings who make the life of a cancer patient harder. I am appalled & disgusted. I ran a business for decades & I couldn't *imagine* refusing to help a caretaker for someone with a terminal illness. That man needs to find his humanity. Maybe he would benefit from an exorcism.
edit: I appreciate the facility manager reaching out to me to make arrangements to pick up my father's package.

Postal worker damaged this 50 gallon water trough I had in my front yard when delivering a package today. I submitted a request to review damages and Tyler Wallace contacted me and said that if I don't have video proof that it was the postal carrier and since he CLAIMS there was no damage to the carrier's car they will not do anything about it. So now I have to worry anytime I get a delivery that they can damage my property and no one is held liable.
