The Drive-Thru is one of the last few remaining in Deland for such a well known bank. No matter the weather, you can do most of your banking at the drive-thru.

Lori at the bank of america in deland is so sweet and awesome. She really made me want to start saving and creating better money habbits! Definitely visit Lori!! Also all the women here working are awesome!

They are super busy on Saturdays, even with appointments. The bathrooms had no soap in any container. 2023 update: friendly staff but poor communication skills and very long wait for non teller service.

2/13/2023 customer service staff rude and unprofessional. Had to wait more than 10 for customer service staff to offer assistance. I am a business customer and other customers made to wait before staff gets information to check us in the bank. Also, a customer that came in the bank after me was offered assistance before I was.

Went to Bank of America during my lunch break and thanks to Lindsey she went beyond my expectations to help me with my transaction. She was extremely patient and helpful with us. She also explained everything to my understanding. Next time I come I’m going straight to her for her amazing service.

My wife and I went here a while back to get something notarized. This took a considerable amount of time to wait as it was extremely busy in the branch.The representative who helped us tried to insist that I needed to open an account in order for her to notarize the document. Having prior bank experience myself, I told her this is not the case, and that banks I've worked for would sometimes charge the maximum fee allowed, but did not require anyone to open an account just to get something notarized. She ended up telling us, "She really shouldn't do this as she might get in trouble," but proceeded to notarize our documents anyway.I felt like this was a bit of a ploy to get me to sign up for BoA, but like an ideal bank loan, I had zero interest and didn't quite understand their terms.I'm sure some have had some excellent experiences here, and I know the pandemic hit a lot of people pretty hard, but it just seems that people skills would go a long way for some employees of this branch.

Bank of America does the absolute bare minimum to help anyone. You MAY get a good teller who has a passion for helping people but the bank itself is very cheap. Expect long wait lines, up to an hour easily and every time you visit. I've only seen one teller in there. You'd think being one of the largest banks they wouldn't cheap out on hiring employees. It's very evident the woman needed help as she scrambled to get everyone's request fulfilled. She was a great worker but she shouldn't be doing the work of 2-3 people.

Worst bank ever! I am just trying to withdraw cash and they really made it so tuff. Moreover, when you open an account here and tell them you don’t want the account to go minus they let it go minus and they charge you for it

This bank is by far the worst bank to bank at in Deland. The lines were always 5-10 people minimum and sometimes more with one cashier and a whole bank full of employees sitting on there hands watching as customers line up out the door into the hallway but yet only one cashier. Rarely on the multiple occasions I've had to bank here did a 2nd cashier show up to help reduce the line. It's 2021 if your still banking here your getting your money taken in fees. Save your money and bank somewhere else. The hassle and stress isn't worth it.2/11/21 Edit: I will not contact your Social Media Care Team as its not my responsibility to Fix the on-going issue with your bank Joseph. Your response is why I wont return to your bank.

They recently "upgraded" the ATM program (which worked fine) and it since has taken my credit card twice - ad the card hasn't worked on-line for a week. either - causing no end of auto-pay problems. They have 6 drive-thru lanes which haven't been staffed in 6 years, and never more than one cashier inside - absolute garbage Bank !
