DeLand Library Friends Bookstore is a small, clean, and friendly space located within the DeLand Library building, with its own entrance and operated entirely by volunteers who are Friends of the DeLand Library. The store offers used books and other materials at very reasonable prices, making it an inexpensive way to support the library. The staff are helpful and easy to access, and even visitors without a library card can get a free 24-hour pass. The library also features fun activities for kids and hosts classes twice a month, led by personable and helpful staff. Currently, there are limited edition library cards with manatees available. While the space is small, many appreciate the friendly atmosphere, clean environment, and the chance to immerse themselves in books and community activities.
The people are really nice, it's a clean location. The only thing is it's terribly small. That might not be an issue for most people, but I kinda like getting lost in the books and being able to immerse myself in a library without being the center of attention because I'm the only other person in the whole building

I personally love the library. Books is my life and I love getting lost in a good book.
