Freedom Playground is the best free playground in the area and a wonderful asset to the community. It is an amazing place for kids with lots of fun for all ages. The playground has a zip line, multiple slides, seesaws, climbing walls, towers, a huge playhouse, and many jungle gym activities. There is a special section for toddlers, a swing for handicapped children, and separate areas for smaller and bigger kids. The entire space is covered by a soft robbery material for safety. It is great for community involvement, where kids can meet new friends. For adults, there are great areas to socialize, relax, or read, with benches and pavilions throughout. The clean bathrooms are always stocked, and there are water fountains. The park is also good for pets.

Great park in DeLand. We sometimes visit downtown and my son absolutely loves this park. Lots of slides and swings along with a huge playhouse with all the jungle gym activities. It's quite impressive
