Honestly hands down they are the best!!! I had my vehicle fixed here twice. Great experience both times. I will not use no other place but this location. They keep you informed and up to date on everything. Rashad is phenomenal and both receptionist are so nice. Look no further than here for your car needs. They make the process super smooth. My son's car has been there for almost 6 to 7 weeks just trying to place a new bumper on his car, 2 day job max . They keep giving the run who don't have parts or next week. This man is paying cash what idiots runs a business like that, they rather deal with insurance companies 1st. Time to get the news involved. .

Several yrs ago my car was hit from behind. Patrick handled my repair quickly, professionally and was very kind. On Fri 8/4/23 I brought my car in. It has been sideswiped in a parking lot months ago and while at Nissan for oil changed they told me that it was not just cosmetic. Serious damage to steering. (And DO Not drive to TX) Went to Gerber as I have State Farm. Was told by Rashaad that 1st they could look at it was Tues 8/8 at 2pm. When I arrived, Rashaad took pic of door &wheel cover. I said I was concerned more about the steering as I was driving to TX by myself (I'm 70 yo woman) the end of Aug. He said we don't change the way we do the process around someone vaca. He said after fixing the door and the wheel cover (no time frame) they would do frontend alignment and find out what parts needed to order to fix the steering. Once they do the front end alignment they will keep my car until they can order the parts and fix it. He could give me no indication of how long that would be (And I would have to have a rental car.) I asked him to do the front end alignment so they could order the parts that were needed to fix more critical items. He told me he didn't have anybody to do it today. That is what I told him needed to be fixed when I set up the appointment. He handed me an estimate for the door and the wheel cover and told me to set up an appointment with the girl at the desk. I told him I wanted the steering trouble fixed first and he told me that I had that paper and I could do what I wanted with it and walked away. I had also asked him couldn't a mechanic just look at it as I already had the list of parts needed. He said no the computer had to do it. I could not believe how rude and unprofessional the situation was handled. And that my safety in driving a car with bad steering was not taken into consideration above fixing a little dent and scratches on the door and replacing a wheel cover. I will not come back there. Over the years I've recommended Gerber to people but I will not do it anymore. And I would have given you zero stars but it wouldn't let me post it like that!

Stay away from this place like the plague. A couple of years ago my truck was hit by another car on the front bumper. They tried to tell me it was a total loss because the frame was bent. When I asked how could they know that the mechanic said, "you can tell by just looking at it". I disagreed and wanted to take it to different body shop for another opinion meanwhile the battery had went dead sitting in their lot. I asked if I could get a jump and they refused. One of the estimators became so verbally abusive we almost got into a fight just for me to leave with my truck. The other body shop I took it to actually had the tools to check if the front frame was bent, and said it was just the brackets holding the bumper to the frame. They did the repairs, and the truck runs fine to this day. The only thing I can figure is that Gerber Collision is either totally incompetent, or they are intentionally totaling vehicles out then having someone buy them back under a salvage title...

Awesome customer service! Rashad at the DeLand location was so great. I stopped in to get a quote to remove some scratches in my new vehicle. He told me he could buff them right out and took my car right then and got me all fixed up in about 10 minutes time! Thank you, Rashad!

Initial impression was good. As time progressed and repairs were delayed, unprofessionalism started to show. Lack of communication. No empathy towards customers feelings or needs. To make matters worse, when we picked up vehicle, it was definitely not running like before we dropped off. Representative claimed vehicle now all of a sudden has “engine problems”. Which was not disclosed when we dropped off nor when it was sent out for an alignment. Feeling we made a huge mistake bringing it to this facility. Waiting on an inspection to be done. Hoping this issue is resolved and no need for legal matters to be involved.Services: Painting

From personal experience, it's a good place to have your car repairs done. Both times, they did great job on repairs and updated frequently about the process. Convenient to rent and drop of the renal car, due to them working closely with Enterprise car rental.

My car was backed into while parked in a parking lot since Nov 2022. Unfortunately, my body shop of choice wasn’t available and I had no other option but to go With Gerber. This has been the worst decision I have made in a long time. After months of playing tag with them the car was finally scheduled to be repaired in February & between lying to my insurance about the car being in their possession to brushing me off stating parts are on back order I decided to do legwork in finding parts to fix my vehicle. I contacted bmw dealerships who all to my surprise had the needed parts in stock and spoke with an insurance rep in regards to this. She contacted them and ironically enough Gerber called me the very next day (April 14, 2023) stating the parts came in. I take my car in WITH NO SERVICE LIGHTS OR ERROR CODES into Gerber and told repairs will be done in a week. Two weeks go by and it’s finally ready to be picked up (April 28, 2023). I stop in to view the repairs before returning my rental car and the paint is completely mis matched and am told there’s an SOS call system malfunction that the dealership needs to repair. I brought this car in with ZERO ERROR CODES so I know something went wrong during the repair. The manager Michael explains he’ll have it repainted to match and I can pick it up that Monday (May 1, 2023) The vehicle is not ready until May 2, 2023 so I go to pick it up May 3, 2023 when I’m free. Upon inspection of the vehicle I ask them to move the car so I can see the color match in and out of the sun. After viewing, I’m asked if “I’m done” and that they are unaware of any error codes. I start the car and give it a few minutes my car is showing an SOS call system malfunction & left tail light malfunction that clearly wasn’t there before dropping the car off. I bring it to Michael’s attention and he lightly tells me he wants to make it right while throughout the entire conversation he makes remarks that clearly show he doesn’t want to take the responsibility to fix it and that the dealership will cover it under warranty. After every word of we’ll fix this I keep hearing “if we did anything we’ll cover it”. I contacted State Farm immediately who told me they will be dealing with it as soon as they can get someone from Gerber to answer the phone & if not, I will be seeking legal action with all documentation from my last date of service at my dealership showing there was nothing wrong with my SOS system nor my taillight. This company is shady and extremely unprofessional & has done nothing but cost me time, money, & aggravation. They messed up electronics in my vehicle during repairs and refuse to take responsibility. If this isn’t handled in the next few weeks a typical vehicle repair for me will now be dragged out for 6 months plus and have to involve legal action. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from Gerber Collision & Glass.

After getting everything settled with my claim, I had to bring my vehicle in to get fixed. I was informed with each step, and was given an estimate of when my vehicle would be ready. Only took 1 and a half weeks to finish. When I left I found out my rear brake light wasn't working. I called over and they told me to come in the following day and they would see what could be done. I showed up and Rashaad came to the rescue and was able to get the maintenance workers to replace the bulb for my light.Wonderful staff, quick turn around, and outstanding work.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I brought my Dodge Avenger to have the front bumper replaced, Jonathan did an awesome job!! The front desk lady was very nice!I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I went on their website today to schedule a free collision estimate. It showed they had two openings today and several open for tomorrow. I booked one for today. They called me about an hour later to confirm and asked if I was going through an insurance company. I said no, and they said, "oh sorry, we don't have any more openings today". I said okay, I will take one of the ones for tomorrow. They said "Sorry, we don't have any for tomorrow either" (!) I said that is very strange because their website showed lots of openings for tomorrow and so I asked if they were refusing to service me because I was not going through an insurance company... They said "no"....Sounds very fishy to me. They must get paid more from insurance companies than individuals, so I guess I will find another shop that will take my money.

From when I walk through the door the receptionist was really nice they got us in really quickly to do an estimate same Day within the next couple of hours and the tech that did the estimate was really nice knowledgeable down-to-earth and I will definitely come back and recommend I went to a few places before I came to this spot and I'm really glad that I did and I wish I would have stopped here first to save the hassle.

They are awesome!!! I would recommend them to anyone needing work done. They go above and beyond from the repairs, to communication, to cleaning, they can’t be beat!! They even vacuumed my vehicle. I have used them in the past for my vehicle and my daughters and have been above pleased. Most people automatically go to the dealer (never crossed my mind) but trust me you won’t be disappointed if you use Gerber.
