What a great experience! The agent, sadly I don’t have his name, was extremely helpful and friendly! He went above and beyond to help me out with a last minute rental need. I highly recommend using this Hertz rental agency and they will definitely be the first and only rental agency I will call in the future! Thank you!

Absolutely horrible customer service from the hertz rep. HERB JOHNSON who is a manager... He was wearing wireless headphones that he never took out the entire time he was talking to me so I was unsure if he was even listening.. he walked out of the room with out assistancing me and was in willing to help me fix the issue.. this was one of my first rental experiences and it was definitely a bad one, I do not plan on returning to hurtz because of the experience. DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL SERVICE.

Glad one is finally in the area. I needed a car last minute and I called ahead to make sure there was availability since I knew it was a new location. The agent advised me of the class of vehicle available and worked with me on pricing. Some people will say bad things but I knew I was last minute and I'm glad I called ahead. It's small but I will be back. The young man there was great with helping me out. I saw the review about this location and wanted to make sure that they got a fair shake. How can you be so Hertz loyal and want a free upgrade but you booked on Hotwire? This is a new location give them a chance to get things going, they worked with me so I am sure they will work with you. Thanks again Hertz for coming to DeLand??

Avoid renting from this shady little Hertz office at DeLand Collision. It started with Hotwire deal of the day from Hertz $22 a day. Went back a half hour later it was now $33 went ahead and booked it. Went to pick it up and they didn't have the Mazda 6 or similar model. Hertz only had an SUV and wanted 11 more dollars a day for it. When I asked for a free upgrade the Agent told me since I booked it that morning he couldn't upgrade it. I told him that shouldn't matter it's been my experience that whenever a car wasn't available I was given an upgrade. He refused. I left feeling taken by classic bait and switch. This car was for my daughter and boyfriend who were visiting from out of town.
