I use this hotel often for my employees. Never had a issue until Kristen Townsend became on duty manger . Believe she is above customer service . Is her job which she is a horrible nasty person . And she told me she would not rent me a room cause she was the manger . And could do it so I call corporate they said Andre helped me with my reservation and was extremely helpful and hope they get rid of Kristen Townsend she does not need to deal with customers . Aside from Kristen Townsend the hotel is great

Our experience was pretty much great with one exception and that was allowed people in the adjacent room who were up at 6:30 in the morning every morning with their TV on and doing loud conference calls.

Great location next to a shopping center and restaurants. Room and bed were perfect. Breakfast was adequate and plenty of luggage carts.
Walkability: Shopping center next door and we found a great restaurant with walking distance, the Red Bowl Asian Bistro, very nice.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in deland and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is located just minutes from several shopping centers and local stores, which made it incredibly convenient to pick up anything I needed or enjoy some leisure shopping.
The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities like a mini-fridge, coffee maker, and a cozy bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a bonus.
The complimentary breakfast had a wide range of fresh and tasty options, and the on-site fitness center was perfect for keeping up with my routine.
The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The location's proximity to shopping and dining options really added to the convenience of my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this Holiday Inn for anyone visiting the area. It’s perfect for both relaxation and enjoying the nearby shopping spots. I’ll definitely stay here again!

This was a very quick and hurried stay for us as we blew into town for a wedding within an hour of our arrival. Very clean. Nice room. Friendly staff. And quiet during our stay. Couldn't ask for more.

I stayed here from 9/20/24 to 9/22/24. The front staff were very friendly. The lady who took care of the breakfast area was very friendly and the area was clean as was my very large room.

Staff was extremely rude, General manager Kristi Townsend was absolutely the opposite of helpful, even instigated the situation worse. Food was bland and overall as a Diamond Elite rewards member I will never stay at this hotel.

Be careful, gentlemen, in this hotel they stole my wallet that contained my jewelry and 5 thousand dollars. I called the police and the poorly educated manager sent me out when I just wanted her to help me find my belongings. I don't recommend it. The same maids get involved. and they rob you, they even took me with my baby, they didn't even let me change my clothes when Ellow himself robbed me
