I work 6 days a week so Sunday was my only time to file. Made an appointment and met with a
“tax pro”. We were informed that even though our son was born in April we could not claim him. We were told that children must be at least 1 year old to be a dependent. The man spoke poor English and had to leave our meeting several times to ask his boss questions. Don’t waste your time, offices like this make me understand why turbo tax is so successful. What a joke Mr. Patel please learn the us tax laws.

Richard helped me with my taxes and sat down with me for multiple hours due to complications with my income. He was very nice, personable, and helped me sort through my tax issues. He met with me a second time in two days to help fix my error. He and other staff were courteous to me as well and assisted me. It's a good office and work culture.

H&R Block is the place to go. They are fast and effective and I love the warm welcomes I get every time I walk in or call.

I only come here when there are extra forms needed to file taxes. Both times this has happened I had to tell them the form that was needed. However, all the staff are friendly and I prefer e-filing. They have done a good job every time. It is easy to make an appointment online.

My tax preparer was 46 minutes late for our appointment. It was a basic filing. I had two W2’s and a letter from the IRS that they owed me $230 and to save for my records. 35 minutes later I was done and charged almost $400. So I would like to know how I could be such an idiot to pay for what I could have gone elsewhere and not been flanked…especially since I filed at this same location less than a year ago and was charged $400 for TWO filings because I ran a year behind. I can elaborate more on my experience, but at the end of the day, I shouldn’t be charged this amount

Due to a mistake made by H&R Block, we now owe thousands of dollars back to the government. You pay too much to have your taxes done there in comparison to the level of knowledge you get from their tax “professional”.

Very rude staff. They wait until they charged me to tell me they couldn't complete my taxes, so I went with someone else. But they still called and persisted on submitting my incomplete taxes, claiming they never knew I was going somewhere else. I talked to three different people. They were extremely rude when I told them I didn't want their service anymore. Will never go to them again, and I would suggest not going unless you want to lose a few bucks.

I was amazed by my tax expert, she was very professional and took her personal time to help me with my IRS password. She made my day very happy. Thank you sooo much Mrs. Wen Chen . You are amazing ? ?

I just recently moved to DeLand and I needed a new tax professional to help me with my taxes. Usually I do them independently but due to personal life changes I needed help this year. Mrs. Cheryl was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable! She made the process a breeze and I didn't feel embarrassed because I had my kids with me, and from past experiences kids are a distraction and it makes the environment uncomfortable. Not with Mrs. Cheryl! She answered any questions my kids had and made them included as well. 10/10 highly recommend!
