Just got off phone with Donna from Midgard storage. I had a pretty disappointing misunderstanding with Midgard and Donna reached out to me to find out the situation. Within a few minutes she had a solution that worked for us and had them happy too. Donna was very pleasant and understanding. Without her help I would probably not be a returning customer but now I will. Thanks Donna?

I needed a local storage facility and Midgard was convenient. The process was quick and the price was fair. The facility is clean and easy to get into.

I wasn’t able to enter with the gate code given so had a small delay in entrance but otherwise a quick and easy rental process I still prefer to speak with a present person

Was very disappointed in the facility. The worker on-site was helpful and was working really hard. Waiting in line for a virtual assistant was not appreciated. My main problem is that y'all's fire alarm system in the back building is still on the fritz, which shuts off the door magnets thus leaving most of them shut, cutting off most of the air circulation. It's climate control (not a/c, I'm well aware) which means roughly room temp, or in Midgard's case, they're set to 80, which is perfect IF the hvac system is maintained (from my experience, its definitely not the workers fault as they have probably been asking for more air filters for awhile and they never sent anyone out to actually clear out and maintain the system), which it's not. So now it's hot and humid near my unit (not shocking, just sincerely disappointing), I started to sweat and all I did was go to my unit and walk back to my car. I have items that are sensitive to humidity and the entire reason I still have a climate control unit, from before I even worked there to AVOID losing said items. Overall, like I said, the worker on site was helpful and was working very diligently, the virtual assistant program is ridiculous and redundant (yes, literally by definition) but the person working the position was also working diligently. Very dissatisfied and will be vacating as soon as I'm able, this is just insanity to show up after a long period of time (life prevents me from visiting often, which isnt uncommon) and just be met with such weird business practices that did the opposite of help a customer and former employee.

After 4 years we went to move out at end of Jan 23,was told we Had to pay another month,forced,after the take over by Alliance who kept raising the rent Every ? 3 ? months! They refused to refund the 207.00 for the Xtra month they Forced us to Stay! My Items were Damaged by Rats!.Priceless irreplaceable Family Items which Insurance will only cover 500.00..compared to 1000's in damages! Alligator Skulls were Chewed through so that bad the Fake eyes and teeth rolled onto the ground as I heard my Grandaughters scream,just slightly louder than my own! Dont rent here unless your items are All STAINLESS STEEL AND YOU DONT MIND RENT INCREASES EVERY OTHER MONTH..OH and be prepared to move out When they Allow you to!

Rat Pee Stains etc.,More Pics Coming.So Nasty I can barely take Picture..If you have the bank account or card where they take the rent from.. Don't bother calling....just reverse the charges on them.
To the Management ...for February you should have refunded charges since we were Forced to stay another month! You had email address for contact and ignored request to move When we Chose..and owe us a refund for the month paid against our will when we wanted to leave at end of January!
Don't know how you paid these Positive reviews,but they are Fake !
This is the WORSE STORAGE company Ever!!

The assistance that we received was great. I especially love the “virtual assistant”, as what it actually does is connect you with a live agent, on a large screen, that can help you. It assures that that there is always someone available. Smart idea!!

I went into the office to buy boxes. This location has a "Virtual Assistant." I can deal with that. I push the button and a very pleasant woman pops up on the screen. I tell her what I am buying, she gives me a total...there is nowhere for me to swipe, tap or insert my card. I have to tell her verbally. Now, luckily I was in the store alone. But, what if I wasn't? The whole store would hear my card #, exp date and CVC number ??
I was alone...I told her my number. I felt so uneasy. I really should have left. My card did not process and said this had happened earlier that day with a customer.
Luckily Micheala walked in and I told her I was having problems. She helped me, meanwhile the virtual assistant reappears on the screen and sees I'm with an employee on property and says goodbye (again, she was so pleasant). I told Micheala how uncomfortable the process to have to call out my cc#. She was super apologetic and agreed that the system needs tweaking (but I am sure it is completely out of her control). She took great care of me. I wish I could give her 5 stars, because she was great. The process of paying with the Virtual Assistant is absolutely horrible, and puts their customers at risk. There really should be a way to swipe a credit card...so be aware of this if you plan to purchase boxes or pay if there is no human around!

I called 30 days a head of time and canceled my storage the person I spoke with send me paperwork to sign I sign the paperwork and send it back and I was still charged after I moved out I called customer service to find out why I was charged when I moved out already there wasn't any lock on the storage she said because I left an empty box in the storage I ask her for my money back she said she had to speak to a Supervisor when the Supervisor called me back when the Supervisor called me back she was very rude she said they charge me because I left the box in the unit I told her I was going to dispute it with my bank she said if I dispute it she will send it to collections this company is not a good company I had another Unit with them which was aircondition to store some scented candles one day I went to my storage to get some candles and the majority of the labels were faded and the boxes look like they were wet and then dry so it seems like my unit was flooded out I went to the office and told them am closing out my unit the manager start giving me a hard time I had to ask her to step out side to see the damage that was done to my candles I should of close my other unit at that time and sue them for damages but I didn't.

At the beginning, in March of 2023, everything appeared good with this storage facility. Then monthly rent went from $200.00 to $303.00 in 10 months. And with the ridiculous charging a last month by requiring 30 day notice to vacate, (I seldom know what next WEEK will bring, much less 30 days before I would remove my belongings), I have found a different storage facility for 1/2 the money for the same size unit, and am very disappointed with this facilities practices.
