We will not be back. The lady who did my son's blood work was extremely rude and very unprofessional. Mind you, my son is THREE YEARS OLD. he is a toddler. My son had stickers he accidentally stuck one on the chair and she yelled at him "don't be sticking stickers on MY chair!" That chair does NOT belong to you. That chair belongs to quest. I removed it of course, but for you to be yelling at my 3 year old, I knew we had to just get it done for his school, but let me tell you if I was my old self, I would of absolutely lost it on her. She crumbled the rest of his stickers up and threw them in the garbage. Again, if I was my old self, I would of snapped. But of course id be the bad person. You say you want patients to treat you with respect or were thrown out but you treat peoples kids like that it's totally unprofessional. Then my son didn't want to follow me to the bathroom, and she told him "well that's to bad". She was irritated that at first he didn't want to sit still either, again he is THREE YEARS OLD. please do better when dealing with peoples children, some of us really do not play about our kids. I will also be leaving this on Google review also.

A hot iron branding would be more pleasing than dealing with any Quest lab. Stay away

The whole thing with making the appointment to the reminders to the very easy check in and to be called before you even get to sit down. The professional drawing of blood. Don't change a thing

I was billed at the office for my prior visit before I could do the blood draw for this visit. I was billed in office before I got the billing from you in the mail and you still did not bill my secondary insurance coverage. I don't like having to pay my balance on my visit before waiting for you to bill my secondary insurance coverage or bill me in the mail.

If I could rate this a zero I would. I am a 79 year old woman. I went to Quest in Deland this morning to get some blood work taken. I had tried to make an appointment online but unsuccessfully so I was a walk-in. After about an hour, I was the only one left in the waiting room and “Deli” came out - She told me that her appointment hadn’t turned up yet so she would fit me in, but that I needed to make appointments in the future. One of the tests on the doctors order form was for a lipid panel but she said it was not specific enough for her, So she would be unable to do those tests. I told her that I had traveled over 1000 miles and I needed to get the tests done this weekend - could I pay for it - she said - yes online. So I asked her OK go ahead and take the blood for the other tests as well as for this one and I could go online and pay for it right now.
She then decided that she didn’t want to take care of me at all. I asked her to please have mercy on me and just help me get done what needed to be done and I would pay anything not ordered specifically. She continued to refuse do any of the tests I needed.
I then reached over to take my lab order off the desk and I asked her what her name was. I was intending to seek assistance elsewhere . She then became confrontive.
She turned her name tag over so I couldn’t see it - But I had already seen that her name was.Deli - (not sure of spelling)
She said I’ll give you a card and she handed me one. As I tried to take it, she grabbed it out of my hand. I reached behind onto her desk and took another one off the desk.
As I tried to leave with the card - she said you can’t take that card that’s stealing and I’m gonna call the cops on you. I tried to exit her cubicle. She jumped in front of the door and blocked my way - I said please get out of my way - this is false imprisonment to try and keep me here - and I tried to walk out but she butted me and she refused to vacate the door space. She said she was going to call the cops on me.. I said you are committing an offense by blocking my exit and I left.
I never raised my voice. I never talked disrespectfully to her. I was on the verge of tears, but remain calm at all times. I have used Quest for years. And I have never experienced anything like this before.
I would like a copy of any security cameras you have in this Deland facility that shows her inappropriate behavior to me.
Thank you

The patient care is satisfactory, but the customer care is still needing some help. The system is not always working and when it’s down you don’t get much help…some even rude if ask any questions.

No check in desk. Everything is done by yourself by computer. I hadn't made an appointment so my wait was about 30 minutes but not too bad. The lady who did the blood draw was excellent.
