First this Pharmacy failed to let me know they did not have my prescription in and they had to order it. I called them today and the lady said everything was fine and she would have it filled by lunch time. I get there after work at 5:00 and was informed the prescription was not filled, they made a mistake so they said to circle around and wait. After I did that, the lady told me it still wasn’t ready and it was rush hour that I needed to move and circle around yet again. She was very rude, extremely unprofessional and had no compassion for what I was going through especially when this was there mistake. So then 5 minutes later someone called me to tell me they did not have enough pills to fill my prescription and maybe they would have it in by next Monday but she couldn’t guarantee it. Wow! Unbelievable!!Sadley no one knows what their doing and they could care less. A little compassion and an apology would have gone along way.

Great Walgreens. Always have what I need. Wonderful pharmacy also. The staff is outstanding. All the shelves are full.

Called the pharmacy and was repeatedly put on hold. 15 minutes and counting. Based on the prior reviews Walgreens corporate really does not care. Taking my business elsewhere.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. On top of the staff always being rude they are trying to play “real doctor” with my medications. Not filling one of my meds because of another med I am on even though both of my doctors are very aware of my medications. So bye big chain, for sure won’t miss you.

Well I got duped again by this brick and mortar retailer - I came here to pick up an item that was advertised by Walgreens to be available for in store pickup, turns out this item wasn't a stock item and only available online at walgreens.com, no fault of the extremely friendly and professional staff here, but still frustrating. As I roamed the aisles hoping that the aisle signage would put me in the vicinity but after several laps I knew it wasn't going to happen and thankfully a wonderful woman in a vest with a badge stopped to assist - she wasn't sure if they had either but started on yet another journey around the store to see if we could locate it - I mentioned to her that it may be available only online but she wasn't hearing of it until we exhausted every shelf without finding it. After thanking her I decided to see if maybe the pharmacist knew of this item and lucky for me she did - and informed me that this item was only offered online and suggest I try CVS by this time I'm thinking Amazon would definitely be my almighty savior but now I would have to take her recommendations hmmm that's quite the drive but I exited without purchasing anything because it seemed this may be a marketing strategy Walgreens uses to get me here knowing I might buy something else well which wasn't going to happen just an FYI CVS uses the same strategy as Walgreen except they offered to help me order it online.Like I mentioned earlier no fault of the staff here and I do appreciate all their help but shame on their employer this is why I don't frequent these places.Fast forward less than 24 hours - Amazon delivers...

I am so tired of going through dealing with people at this place! The young blonde girl working in the pharmacy is unbelievable! I have been going through alot of medical problems and cash flow is very low, so my sister was going to cover what I didn't have . The total for my meds was 42.45 So I told her take 38.00 off my bank card and the rest I would pay in cash. Simple right?! WRONG! She took and applied the 20 dollar bill and then the rest of bank card. This was done in the drive thru. So I parked the car and go in asking for management. Told her what I wanted and I needed it fixed. Simple right?! WRONG!!!! I told her 38.00 off bank card and the rest in cash. What did the manager do? Took 30.00 off bank card and 12.45 in cash....... It's simple math people wth???!!!!!! 42.45 minus 38.00 is 4.45 so 38.00 off bank card and 4.45 in cash is what they should have done . And to think these people are running the pharmacy......GOD HELP US!!!!!!!

I will tell you In the beginning I enjoyed it. And my co workers. After a while I felt belittled and underappreciated. You know I did my best there I was very passionate about helping people but some days, the corporate over patient care, and verbal abuse you go through gets to you. This store really has phenomenal people that do their best to help you. I left after being physically ill, and my manager telling me if I can through up I can breathe after me being in the hospital with low oxygen levels. Which i found disrespectful but held it in. But beingiphysically ill and struggling mentally I just couldn't take it. I don't regret leaving this place, but I do feel bad for my good coworkers that have to feel theipain of being short staffed. Trust and believe if we could do more we do do it. The pharmacist and tech Do their Best in such hard times. Please be kind.

I inquired about purchasing a Sunpass transponder as Walgreens is one of the retailers listed on the Sunpass website. The staff told me Walgreens had not been able to get them from the State for 5 months and that no one else in town had them either, I would have to order it. I went down the street to Publix and they had them. The lady said they had never had any trouble getting them.

This store constantly lets me down and flat out puts me at risk. I do not know if it is over worked, under staffed or just plain incompetent. This is the latest of screw ups and horrible customer service. I called in a prescription to this Walgreens #4699 in Deland on I.S.B. the day after xmas. they said it was being processed and they would be in touch, I called a week later, same message, I called two days later to add a prescription and get a status update. the lady asked me if I had new insurance. I said same company but had a new card. She said they had to see the card before they could refill any prescriptions. 10 days had pass since i ran out of my meds. I asked when they were going to let me know this? or do you just wait to see if I die first? she said come in after work and they would handle it. after waiting 45 minutes in line at the pharmacy, I am told I have to call the insurance co, I do and the ins.co. clears the way for them to fill the script. I get back in line, another 20 minutes, she says give us 15 minutes and it will be ready. I wander the store ,get back in line and 15 minutes my scripts are ready. I pay, I go home and low and behold instead of a months supply of my cholesterol meds , they gave me two pills! this happened the last time I refilled this script so shame on me for not expecting them to screw up and check the script while I was in line. The very long line of people waiting prompted me to exit quickly. I called when I noticed, it was just before 8pm. I was put on hold and remained on hold until 9:47 when my frustrated self realized the pharmacy closed at 9 pm!!! they left me holding 45 minutes after they left. I hung up and had to call back twice to get the store manager. he was as useless as the ball on Biden. I requested/demanded the pharmacist call me this morning to rectify the situation. no call, no nothing. I called corporates home, talked to a rep who assured somebody would be back to me in 48 hours, I will not hold my breath. the last time they shorted my script, they made me pay two copays, one for the 2 pills and one for the remaining script. needless to say I am transferring my prescriptions to CVS, no guarantee they will be better but I doubt they will be worse. just a little suggestion for Walgreens, if you know it is going to be busy from 5-9 staff accordingly, we work too!

Tried to call store multiple times, no answer. The ladies running the registers dont seem to know whats going on and the people outside wait for like an hr sometimes. They are not lazy some people just cant walk in and when they do they stand in line for a long time. I have used walgreens for a long time and now Im tranferring to a different pharmacy.

Transferred our prescriptions to the store when we moved, they had problems with a prescription, during the phone call to straighten out the problems, arranged to pickup everything at once. Instead we get to this store, they had nothing ready, drive around the building please, get back to the window and only the problem prescription is filled. Spoke to pharmacist and manager and they were useless to solve any kind of problem, just come back tomorrow, we can't help right nowWorst Walgreens I've ever been to, time to look for another pharmacy to give my money to.

Service here at the pharmacy desk is a bit hit and miss lately. I'm surprised that Walgreens isn't responding to any of the many complaints posted here. I called to let the pharmacy know that one of my scripts (a brand name drug) that was declined would actually be approved by ExpressScripts if Walgreens would call the pharmacist hotline at ExpressScripts and request approval manually. The girl that I finally reached at the pharmacy in Deland seemed overwhelmed, and was difficult to hear clearly perhaps due to the placement of her headset or was holding the phone wrong. Anyway, after I explained the issue, she took the phone number I gave her for ExpressScripts and begrudgingly stated that they were busy and would "try" to call for approval. She gave me no formal commitment nor any level of confidence that she or anyone would actually help. So I suppose I'll have to call back again tomorrow and waste more of both of our time if I don't an approval pop up message from the Walgreens app. We all get overwhelmed at times... But when you are making MILLIONS of dollars on those of us who full our scripts with you, you'd better treat us better. As I type this, I wonder if I should transfer my scripts to CVS? Or a local pharmacist. Walgreens... DO BETTER
