Staff is warm and friendly. Doc was ready to make make some money without follow thru. Distressed, elderly, fat cat. Came with urine infection, ran many tests. Also discovered high blood sugar. After $$$$ sent me home with insulin and antibiotic. Newly diagnosed diabetic…no dietary modification discussion, no timing of medication to food discussion. Also no thought that the blood sugar may be falsely elevated due to single reading during acute infection with dehydration. Sent home with insulin without true diabetic teaching, I could kill my cat with insulin. But guess what, she’s gonna call me with the X-ray results tomorrow…if my cat is alive after the insulin I guess. Also I was told the cat needs an updated rabies vax, I asked since my cat NEVER leaves the house what are the risks for getting rabies…”well none but a bat may fly into your house”….I’ll leave that right there.

Would not recommend. They also don’t make it easy to cancel, I tried calling the corporate office and there’s a 46 minute hold time. What a racquet, I’ll be charging back

If I could give zero stars I would. My son got a kitten last year and because he is a college student decided Banfield Wellness plan fits his budget. The first issue we had is they missed a significant heart murmur. We had to take the kitten to urgent care where they told us about the heart murmur. We asked if this was something that could just appear they said no that the severity she had been born with it. We had to take her to a cardiologist who was fantastic and prescribed meds and was told Banfield will be primary and that we only needed to follow up every 6 months with them. The first follow up at Banfield the doctor who very rude and acting as if we were over reacting. Unfortunately, due to the wellness plan we had to continue care with Banfield. The kitten was finally cleared to be spayed from her cardiologist on July 10th. The cardiologist called Banfield to speak with the vet to ensure they had the correct anesthesia that was needed for surgery. We were told we could schedule with Banfield that clearance was provided. We called for the first available on July 17th. The cardiologist told us to give a mild sedative before taking her so she would not be stressed. Drop off at 7am and that she would be ready at 2:30. At 12:50 pm, I receive a call from Banfield that they need clearance before they could do the surgery. I explained that the cardiologist called and spoke with them on the 10th and that they should have also received a report. The doctor said the last notes they had were from January. I asked then why am I only receiving a call now at 12:50 when she had been there since 7am. At this point is was very clear they do not know what they are doing. I told the doctor I was canceling everything and do not do anything that I was coming to get her. I called the cardiologist to confirm they spoke with Banfield on the 10th and was told yes and that a report was also sent. When I got there I requested medical records and in reviewing noted the lack of care. They did not follow the cardiologist notes for care on January 5th. We were told to start Atenolol and was prescribed Veraflox. I trusted they were prescribing the correct meds. Veraflox was never supposed to be given. If you love your pets as family DO NOT take them to Banfield!

We absolutely love DRB Banfield Hospital. There is no greater stress relief than knowing Milo is in great, loving arms at Banfield. I used more expensive pet insurance companies in the past, Banfield is well worth every dollar spent to help keep Milo in the best, healthiest condition possible. At Banfield, we are treated like family.

This is our go to for all my dog's medical needs. Part of the Banfield family for years. It's well worth the monthly fee. Take my puppy for annual physical shots and blood work. The staff and doctors are wonderful and will take care of your little family member.

The staff was SO amazing, sweet, and patient. I have a pitbull… so going to the vet can be a discriminatory and unpleasant experience. But the front desk girl, the nurses, and the Vet Dr.Emmanuel, were all gentle, kind, professional, and showed no fear of my baby and were so helpful!!! Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at the vet in my Luna girls 7 years of life.

So disappointed in the service provided. We dropped our frenchie off with an ear infection and some GI issues. He was clean and behaving happy when we brought him. I dropped him off at 11 and was called well after 3 and informed that after testing and then “cleaning” his ears he was now itching like crazy and more inflamed. They insisted that he needed a cone now. Upon arriving I was speechless at how pitiful our dog behaved and how gross his ears and skin is now after being treated. We have had the same issue a year before and another vet office handled this so much better. To top it off they prescribed far too much medication without actually results from the tests to say what was wrong with him. Let’s hope he feels better soon.

I took our dog in for some concerns with his joints. The staff was super friendly and helped put him at ease. After the exam the Doc sat with me to discuss the care plan and to answer any questions. I felt very confident that Max got the absolute best care and that we as a family are in a better position to help keep our pup healthy for years to come.
