Review for Castello Salon in Boca Raton:
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Castello. I originally went in just to touch up my gray roots, but the stylist quickly talked me into doing highlights instead. I went along with it, trusting their professional opinion—meanwhile, they seemed more focused on how much higher they could run up the bill than on delivering a quality result.
The highlights and haircut left my hair damaged, flat, and breaking off. The cut was uneven, and my hair now feels thinner and lifeless—far from the refreshed look I expected.
After the appointment, I called a high-end, well-known salon in the area and described what was done. They told me their top stylist would have charged no more than $400 for the same service—done with far more care and professionalism.
When I called Castello to express my concerns, the only thing the owner offered was a conditioning treatment. Given the level of damage and how uncomfortable I now feel with their quality of work, I believe they should have offered to refund my money. Since they haven’t reached out to do that, I felt it was necessary to share this experience publicly.
This was not just overpriced—it was careless and disappointing. I trusted them and left feeling taken advantage of. I would not recommend this salon.

I have been going here for about 7 years. I commute 40 minutes each way because this husband and wife team are always looking to make me happy with hair color and styling. Prices are fair for their years of experience and attention to detail.
Requested style: I get a bob, of sorts. Antonella has the patience of a saint, detailing with extreme care every time. Leandro is a coloring genius and produces color that is very well suited to my complexion and personality.

We have been coming to Castello since April 2019, when we moved to Delray Beach. We had to move back to Dallas for family issues for nine months, and we made special trips all the way back to Delray from Dallas to get our hair done. That's how good they are! We now live outside Daytona Beach and drive down monthly to have a hair and spa day with Antonella and Leandro. Come see Abbie for facials. Thanks to Antonella and Leandro for taking care of us all these years! They are terrrrriffic!
