We called roadside service for a dead battery. They jumped it and after a couple of minutes the car stopped running. They said the battery was good, it could be the alternator.
We have driven past Congress Auto Service so knew it was there.
After reading reviews decided to have our car towed there since it was right down the road from our home. Sam quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and repaired our car that same day. Sam is the Best mechanic in south Florida because he is honest and knowledgeable! From now on Sam at Congress Auto Service is our go to mechanic for all of our vehicle's maintenance.
Forgot to mention that we had called around to get estimates for an alternator and got all different prices and some refused to even give us an estimate.
Sam had the best price! You will not be disappointed!

When is the last time you met an honest, genuine auto mechanic? One that you can trust with your eyes closed?
In my opinion, and for me, there is only ONE mechanic in Boca Raton/Delray Beach that I will ever use: Sam from Congress Auto Service. Something in Sam's DNA makes him treat people fair, honest, straightforward and truthful. How important is this in a business like auto repair? It's #1 on my list. Forget the fact that he can find your problem in record time, my impression about him was positive the moment we shook hands. Go to Sam. You will not be disappointed. He is a true, true mensch and will deal with you 100% FAIR.

I met Sam when I put my car in his shop due to several sensors lighting up on my dashboard. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary adjustments. Their work is quality and efficient while pricing is extremely competitive and always transparent. I would always hesitate taking my car into a shop when their was a problem knowing what I might be in for, that is certainly not the case now.
