After checking other lamp repair places, I happened upon DeCosta. I read the reviews and decided to check them out.The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the repair to a bronze desk lamp for a reasonable price.I’ll visit them again in the near future with another project needing repair. I’m very happy I found DaCosta Lighting Service.

It's hard to believe that a place like this still exists where you get wonderful service without waiting. I brought in a complicated light fixture and they took it apart to check for any possible problems. Sure enough, it was fixed in a very short time. There's no way I would have received this kind of attention at a big chain store. Very happy!!!!

We bought a lamp that should hang from a 15 feet high ceiling. The ceiling was too high for the beautiful lamp we have. The came up with a low price solution and now the lamp is hanging where we wanted it. Check the picture. They did a superb job. I would recommend them for all your lighting needs.

Went to four other lighting shops before DaCosta. I would have saved a lot of time if I would have just come to them in the first place. The owner spent almost an hour manufacturing, on the spot, a pivot for a chandelier I was unable to hang without. Unbelievable service, extremely courteous and priced as it should be. They'll have all my business moving forward.

Great Delray family own business. Very knowledgeable and professional. As an interior designer, I have been working with Dacosta for years, from rewiring antique & new items, make custom canopies, lamp shades, clean crystal chandelier etc. Highly recommended and reasonably priced.

I brought my much loved vintage ceramic TV lamp to DaCosta to be rewired. Wonderful customer service and although I knew it wasn't going to be cheap, I don't mind paying for quality work. I have several other lamps I plan on bringing in to be rewired as I don't trust just anyone to work on my vintage lamps.

Unfortunately I had to experience poor and unfriendly service.

I purchased two identical expensive white lampshades from this establishment. Within a year one shade discolored to a dingy yellow while the other remained white. The owner took no responsibility, was dismissive and had the nerve to try and sell me another of the same shade. I was told the shades were made in China and she had no control of the quality.

Fan and lighting World Recommended da Costa lighting to clean and repair my mothers 60-year-old chandelier. They mentioned that da Costa repairs and refurbishes the lighting for the Flagler estate.I dropped off the chandelier & was given an estimate of $450 and a weeks time for the repair. I called 10 days later, Carmen said that she was sick and wanted to understand what needed to be done. I explained that I wanted the electrical wiring checked and the fixture cleaned up so that I could re-hang it in my home. It worked well in my mothers home, but I moved it from NY & wanted to be sure that it would work well and not be a fire hazard now. I called the following week and Carmen said it was ready. She told me that the fixture was re-wired and she cleaned it the best that she could. The ring that was adhered to the ceiling was missing, there was a little confusion as to how long I needed the chain to hang from my higher dining room ceiling. I made calls home and my husband measured the ceiling, the old fixture, and the length of the chain. The repair was expensive, but the chandelier works well , has a lot of sentimental value but feels a little too small & high off the table.

Overpriced, poor quality and no customer service. Better quality products easily available at numerous big-box retailers.

Family run business that knows their craft. Good work isn't cheap, but they take time with each customer and want them to be happy with their work. Really nice people!

There is no place like this store that I'm aware of in the immediate area. Maybe somewhere in downtown Manhattan you would find a store like this. They can take any lamp and fix it. It seems their specialty is antique lamps and high end lamps. They also sell lighting fixtures such as chandeliers. This is an excellent find I recommend them to anyone and the prices are reasonable

I brought a mini pendant light in because I broke the socket. The mini pendant was discontinued by Kichler, and Kichler wasn't interested in helping me find parts. Carmen at Dacosta left no stone unturned. She found me a socket that would work! The new bulb cover was clear glass and not frosted as in the old one, and Carmen even found a way to frost it. Great perseverance and fabulous customer service !! Thanks so much!! Laurie Kaufman
