I was just in via ER, which was a very good experience assigned to a room, staff attentive, caring and willing to help and then taken to a room in the new wing, the staff there was excellent always there to help in anyway they could. I cannot say enough about how great my experience at Delray has been since my health issues were quite scary. Thank you Delray Medical Center

I visited with a friend who had surgery at Delray Medical in Feb. 2024. She is confined to a scooter as she has no feeling from her waist down. I was appalled at the care she didn’t receive. She was moved three different times to different areas and rooms in the hospital. This caused stress. The personal care was disgusting as she hadn’t been showered or cleaned up for 6 days. Her bag needed emptying and she never received lunch one day I was there. Delray Medical you need to do something about your 2 star rating. Fortunately, this person will now go elsewhere for care.

Hopefully they can get it together because right now, they are proving that all these 1 star reviews are correct. We need more compassionate and hardworking people in this facility.

I recently had surgery at Delray Medical Center, from the time I arrived in Pre-op til Being Discharged I was treated like Gold, Colleen the Pre-op Nurse was great and so was Alma in post operation recovery, they both took such good care of me. I'd also like to thank Kristi Fitzgerald CRNA and Kam O'brien -Scrub tech and everyone else involved -Jim Dempsey

This place is disgusting. My dad was transported here via EMS. He didn’t have nurses for hours. The CNA looked like he had a heavy load. The charge was the only one who helped me clean my dad. If I can give it a zero I would. Filthy!!!

I had an encountered with Ellen Svetc. She is a charge nurse in the ER Room Night Shift . You can’t be a charge nurse and be so unprofessional and rude . That’s setting a bad example in the department. Speaking too patients that needs your assistance for whatever they need and for you too not help them in need it’s just not good . You are a Charge nurse in a facility to help people and treat people with respect but you do the opposite. This not somebody you want running the floor at all please fix it .

My elderly mother had a 1st time emergency visit here Feb 4th 2024 and required immediate attention which she received. ER staff was attentive which is NOT EASY to find in a large busy ER . She was admitted to cardiac ICU and the care there was top-notch. Ultimately needed cardiac surgery and had a 4 week stay at the hospital. I have absolutely NO complaints and I was there every day, all day by my mom's bedside.I simply cannot believe that Delray MC has a 2star rating nor the poor comments. I hope this honest review helps to change that. I venture to say that many folks have might unrealistic expectations when it comes to hospital care.Every staff member was so attentive, engaging, and kind. It started from the minute you register at the front desk every day. There is not one time that I asked for information or needed help that I was not attended to properly. Everyone remembered to introduce themselves when entering the room. No exaggeration...every staff member would stop what they were doing to answer my questions or help with a request. I am speaking of staff members at every level: dietary delivery, porters, radiology staff, cleaning staff, physical therapy, case managers, medical consultants. The nursing staff are absolutely wonderful, well trained, compassionate. Cleanliness of patient rooms, waiting rooms, hallways, restrooms VERY good.I do believe that Delray medical center must have a top-notch administrative and executive team because this level of excellence always starts at the TOP and trickles down.I have worked in many Emergency departments ( large and small) in my medical career, and have only a few times seen this level of excellence (Boston Children's, Arnold Palmer children hospital to name a few).Delray residents are blessed to have this gem of a hospital in their backyard.Thank you to the entire staff at DMC for my mother's care

The most disgusting medical facility I’ve ever seen. I am 39 weeks pregnant and due next week. A glass bowl sliced open my forearm and I needed stitches. I waited almost 2 hours to be stitched. They asked if I wanted to do an xray to make sure there was no glass left in my arm. You are not supposed to have an xray pregnant but they told me it was ok since I was far enough along and that they would shield my stomach during it. The woman handed me a blanket to cover my stomach which fell off while doing the xray. The room itself was DISGUSTING. I have no idea why I stayed. There was hair, blood, and dust splattered everywhere. The tray they used to hold the supplies for my wound and stitch me on was also filthy. The bed they had me sit on had a yellow stain in the middle of the sheet. The nurse practitioner who stitched me was very nice but it continued to bleed when I left the hospital after being stitched. I had a doctor look at it elsewhere and was told they did not use enough stitches. Would NEVER go back. They should be ashamed to have a medical facility that filthy.

This hospital is absolutely disgusting. My spouse, who is going through some sort of cold or sickness, went into the hospital to get checked out because it’s been going on for about a month which isn’t normal when it comes to him. He left around 2 something in the afternoon and it is now 8:41pm As I’m typing. He ended up getting a swab test and a COVID-19 test done as he was waiting for an available room. The staff also reminded him more than once that his room was almost ready, and that he would be able to go in there. There were multiple people who checked in after him yet they were able to get their room as soon as they sat down and waited a couple minutes. After waiting about an hour or two for a room that they claimed was almost done, they ended Up putting him bedside against a hallway wall, along with a few other patients. He was on that bed I want to say another hour or so before he even got a IV so that he can get His blood drawn. They also asked him for a urine sample. A little while after he ended up doing a x-ray. All these tests were ran in between the times of 5:30pm - 7:00pm. It is now 8:48 PM and he has still yet to see any results For either one of his test that he did. He has not ate anything, nor was the hospital able to provide anything for him to eat. The service here is absolutely terrible. The staff is extremely Careless and they work very slow. if I had the chance to post this review with zero stars, I would, but Google is forcing me to pick a star.

This has got to be the worst hospital in America. My mother was taken here because of bloodclots in her leg. In three days, not a single doctor talked to her, or they would have "discovered" that she has a serious infection in her toe. Which of course they left untreated, because they never did, in fact, do a physical examination. She was discharged. Now she is at Bethesda West Hospital where she is receiving excellent care.DON'T GO HERE.

I made it through, it is a trauma hospital after all and people just have to aware of that, people worse off, * got moved to trauma step down, was there 8 days waiting for my blood to thicken for biopsy, Carmel, Caitlin, Alma, my bath ,which was nice warm soapy water, I will not forget how kind , it was much needed.I may not remember everyones name, Eric, Sasha, you were all great! considering having to deal with traumas at all times. I am home now, If I never go back, I will be glad, but if I do, I hope I see all of you. Keep up the hard work, you all work so hard and busy❤️❤️I am grateful for all you did. I was a very eye-opening experience, thanks for getting me through it!
