Unfair Pricing and Questionable Practices
I had a very disappointing experience at the old mr grocery. I recently purchased a 12-pack of Modelo beer and was shocked to be charged $24—nearly double the average price, which typically ranges from $13.99 to $15.99.
The owner claimed that the debit machine was down, so I had to pay in cash without a receipt. Initially, he gave me incorrect change, but after some back and forth, he eventually handed me the correct amount—money that was just sitting on top of the cash register. This made me feel like there was a lack of proper accounting and raised concerns about the intentions behind how transactions are handled.
Overall, this experience felt exploitative, and I can't help but wonder if this is a common practice towards customers in the community. I urge others to be cautious when shopping here. I know I won’t be returning.

Received numerous fraudulent charges right after buying from here. Although I can’t be certain that this place was the reason, it is probably the most sketchy convenience store in Delray and the fried chicken I bought was old and dry.

Very rude the cashier does not respect any human being , if we are spending money at a store, there is a minimum of service that shall be given to a patron. Store sucks!!! Period specially price gorging , the prices are too high , will contact the appropriate party to handle this.

I get there at 10 55 and he tells me they're closed when theyre supposed to bs closed at 11! Unbelivably pissed off!
