I went in with my 2 toddlers today to get 3 watch batteries replaced and it was a pleasant experience. Unlike other reviews here, he greeted us and was very friendly throughout the experience. He did a great prompt job. I will be recommending his services to friends!

Rudeness personified! I walked in, he was soldering. I said hello, he nodded. We waited and waited, then he said "what do you want". I told him watch batteries. He kept on soldering and we waited and waited. So we said thank you and left. I don't have to put up with rude people. So he lost a $30 sale and our future business.

Took some jewelry in to get repaired and some charms added to my bracelet. Within two days two of my charms that were supposed to be welded on fell off. Now I have to go to another jeweler because I don't trust the other work he's done on my jewelry.

I used to drive up to West Palm Beach to a jeweler I'd used for years, but happened by this shop near where I live. I decided to give it a shot so I wouldn't have to drive so far. All I needed was to check out my old string pearl necklaces. I remembered I'd gotten one from my husband 30 years ago. I may have gotten the other from my mother that had originally been her mother's, but they didn't have much money so it was questionable to me. The owner was very nice and happy to accommodate me. He taught me how to tell if a pearl is real or not which was great to know. He carefully examined both strands and told me which necklace had real pearls and that the other did not. He didn't charge me anything, and I was very happy to so quickly and easily be assured of what I have. He's earned my trust, and I'll be right back here next time I have a jewelry need.

Before you go to this Shop, I have two recommendations: 1- Check the location on Google Earth so you will know, in advance, exactly where you are going OR enter the location your GPS. 2- Call before going because Tom's hours are "flexible". Make an appointment. I have had a heavy 18 carat gold Cuban Link Men's bracelet for about 50 years. I never take it off but I recently had to because the catch broke. In looking for a Jeweler to repair the catch I came across a listing for "The Goldsmith Shop" on NE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach. Tom, the Owner and Goldsmith replaced the catch, two small "safety" latches, and polished the bracelet which now looks like new. He took the time to discuss the bracelet with me as well as what it needed and what he was going to do. I left the bracelet with him. He called me later that same day to inform me the repair had been completed. I picked it up the next day. He did a beautiful, meticulous job. I am 100% satisfied and pleased with the quality of his work and recommend him highly to anyone who has jewelry that needs repair. The Shop is easy to get to and there should be no problem parking which is off street. Reminder: I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment because his shop hours are limited.

Disappointed because a lapis stone fell out of my ring and I called the shop to see if it could be replaced. He said he could order the stone and I went out of my way to go there at the time it said the shop opened and it was closed. I called up and the owner said he had stuff to do at home. He'd be there in an hour. We'll I had an appointment and couldn't wait. I don't think it's right to list hours and not adhere to them. He could have told me he wouldn't be in at the listed time. When I called he was a bit sarcastic also. He may do good work but this wasn't a good experience. I'll go somewhere else.

First time posting on a website...and sorry to be posting a negative one...but this guy is a weirdo! I took my watch in to have a link on the gold bracelet repaired...(which he did a great job on) and while there he suggested the watch could do with a good clean and polishing which I agreed to. I went back the next day to pick it up and paid the $250. bill. When I got home I noticed the watch was not keeping time, nor were the hands aligned with the numbers....I marched the watch back the next day - and he said none of that was his fault...watches break or need to be replaced, and then proceeded to make a correlation between a watch and a car?!?! Long story short...The watch was not working and I didn't trust him enough to leave it!The next morning I took my watch to Tick Tock Watch repair at Boynton Beach Rd and Military Trail...the guy there took one look at the watch and asked me who messed up the watch?!...The crystal was not put back in properly and fell out it this guy's hand...the seal on the watch had not been done....Thank goodness for Tic Tock!!!...I left the watch overnight and the gentleman there put in a new crystal...aligned the hands of the watch...and properly sealed the watch for me....all for $90.Use The Goldsmith for battery changes only...I'm sure he can manage that without completely screwing up your watch...what a ripoff that guy is....

Thomas does excellent work but last time I was in he refused to wear a mask .said he couldn't work in one yet we were only looking through catalogs. His actions were extremely selfish. I was very nervous since it was before we were being vaccinated. I left he lost out on a $700 job. I have recommended him to a friend but warned about his refusal to mask UP
