Super nice initially. However, after I declined insurance and gas prepay they became very cold towards me. This after I patiently sat through the sales pitch. I always decline these items. They also switched the car on me, which increased my wait time. Felt disrespected, avoid.

This place wasted my entire morning I made a reservation for a rental car. The woman on the phone told me if I had a major credit card the deposit was 250 and that if I had a debit card it was 500 I had the 500 in my account and my debit card with a 606 credit score which they ran my credit score so it made it drop and I had to drive all the way to this place out of my way for them to tell me I cannot rent a car

Never, ever rent an Electric Vehicle (EV) for a road trip.First of all, I never leave reviews, this was just that bad.We did not ask for an EV , we reserved a regular small SUV. My wife was told at the last minute it was either the EV or nothing . So she took what they had as we were on a tight schedule. We were taking our daughter to college for the first time in Gainesville, and every minute counted.This rental was a horrible experience. We spent a ridiculous amount of time at service stations trying to charge it. I had the displeasure of downloading three different apps to charge the "car"Trying to charge this "car" caused so much grief, and frustration. It wasted so much of our valuable time. After driving and charging home all day, I found a public charger at the library to try and charge it. The car showed 8 hrs to be fully charged. I was honestly furious at this point and decided not to spend another minute with this thing. I dropped it off at the store with 36%. Now I'll be charged for not being fully charged on return. Their phone service system is so bad I could not get through to anybody or anything related to this issue. Waste of time, hence this review. Thank you, but never again.D

Wow!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!! if i could give 0 stars i would. I really hope this company shuts down! My father's son and son 11 years old, has been stuck on the road since 8am !! they are heading to Orlando for a family birthday celebration and they have been stuck on the road for 12 hours just STUCK IN ORLANDO!! this company doesnt care about its customers only want the money! And not only that, they gave a faulty electrical car that wasnt charged upon him renting it...my son father had to charge the car each time 2 hours. Doesnt hold charge....JUST TERRIBLE!!!! you cant do people like that. ITS UNFAIR!!

Absolutely horrible. We made a reservation online, got a confirmation number and when we showed up they told us they had no cars and left us stranded. We had to pay for an Uber to Thrifys and back and they wouldn’t even accommodate us in absorbing those costs. We were left on the side of the street with no transportation.

You know those days that everything goes wrong and you arrived after many struggles at the rental car late and they are already closed. It was 100 degrees but to my luck, the manager was leaving the place and asked me if he could help. He said the place was closed, I didn’t realized they close at 12 and it was past that time. Renette, went back inside saw my name on the roster and decided to help me, his kindness and customer service, I will never forget, he was the light that day and I will always be thankful for his professionalism and for his good heart. Kudos to him for helping me when I most needed!

If I could give a no stars I would. I rented a vehicle it broke down and they couldn't provide a replacement car. They charged me for the full rental. I have been disputing it for months. DON'T RENT FROM THRIFTY!

I hardly go out of my way to leave poor reviews, but I am baffled how this company is still in business. First, their policy (AFTER you pay for the rental car) is to leave a $500 charge on a credit card without a credit check OR $500 charge on a debit card with a credit check. We learned of this when we checked in to get the car. Be prepared. We were not prepared to be paying any type of extraneous fees.Then, we had two addresses in Orlando to drop the car off to. BOTH had been closed down. Not one employee mentioned this even after calling an hour before the drop off. The employees at the hotel “drop off” said people had been coming there often to drop off cars and they have to turn them away.In our experience with pickup and drop off, there were many disgruntled customers for various reasons. I would NEVER use this company again. They don’t try to rectify any situation or make up for any inconvenience.

Shocking customer service. The manager at this location needs to be sacked. After spending 2+ yrs straight renting with hertz the manager here wouldn't help me with a simple task and "didn't care" if I took my business to enterprise. Avoid hertz Delray Beach

Don't use Thrifty! I originally ordered a Chevy Equinox or similar from Delray beach and they gave me a much smaller CUV with barely enough room for luggage. At the pickup location, they told me that because I reserved the car through Priceline that they couldn't adjust the rate to a lower rate and that I should call Thrifty and have the rate adjusted based on what I actually ended up with. After calling Thrifty, they said they could not just adjust the rate because I signed an agreement. The customer service is terrible and be prepared to wait on hold for 25 minutes or more. Will never get a car through this company ever again!

The employee was nice. But the Corporation need to update there system or find a way to let customers know that they have NO cars. This way the customer do not take their frustration out on the person who works there. This is a CORPORATE PROBLEM!! Too many reserved cars that wasn't there.
