I’ve been to this Ulta location several times, and not once have I been greeted or offered any help. What I do get is followed around the store like I need supervision. But today really did it for me. The cashier Lizeth made the check out experience so unpleasant that I actually have no intention of ever coming back. I was just trying to explain that I needed to exchange a few items. Instead of offering any basic courtesy, she gave me attitude, acted dismissive, and was pretty much borderline passive aggressive. She told me one of the products had been used too much to return, which is completely understandable. The issue wasn’t the policy, it was the way she handled it. Her tone, her energy, the lack of professionalism. As if that wasn’t enough, she didn’t even bother to bag all the items. So thank you, Lizeth, for making it incredibly easy to decide where not to shop.

recently contacted the CEO of Ulta Beauty. There was a older male employee who appeared to a GM or team lead, he went on to follow me and my spouse, the only people of color in the store. He was unfriendly and made us very uncomfortable.

The manager, Shelly, was completely unhelpful, inattentive, and disrespectful. She rolled her eyes at me when I asked a simple question and acted like I was bothering her. I asked if she could check the drawer for an item I thought was out of stock, and she clearly couldn’t be bothered. Extremely disappointing experience.

The stylist (Robby V.) absolutely ruined my hair. I had to pay $233.45 to get it fixed at another salon, and I had to cancel my engagement photo session (which cost $150) due to this stylist’s incompetence. I’ve been asking corporate to cover the damages—including the nonrefundable payment to my photographer, which I lost because my hair looked horrible—but they won’t return my calls or emails.

Do not go here unless you want your hair to be damaged or fried and end up paying even more to have it fixed somewhere else.

I decided to try the salon at Ulta since my hair stylist moved away and I’ve been in need of an alternative. I loved getting Ulta points for getting my hair done!! I’m giving 5 stars as there was no wait time, it was super easy to make an appointment, and the price was as expected (and very reasonable compared to private stylists). Robby V cut my hair, it looks great and he did an awesome job brightening it up. My only issue was with Stacy (I think that was her name)…. she’s another stylist there who had absolutely nothing to do with my appointment, but clearly had a problem with my stylist and was completely unprofessional about it. She kept coming over to us during the appointment and demanding I show her a photo of what I wanted (I didn’t have one, I had full trust in Robby to use his professional judgment), and she was repeatedly acting like there was an issue and he would mess up my hair. Honestly, it caused me a LOT of stress and anxiety and would’ve ruined my appointment if Robby wasn’t so great and professional about it. After getting frustrated and telling her we were good and I had nothing particular in mind, she finally left us alone, but I swear she was giving the stink eye for the full 2 hours. Just super uncomfortable behavior. But I’ll be back to see Robby again! Super happy overall.

went after a pool day to shop, was wearing shorts with no pockets and tiny t-shirt. the sales associates were almost completely useless, i went around the store 40 mins and asked for help and no one really cared. by the end when i was going to check out my friend and i separated and she heard the sales associates accuse us of stealing and to keep an eye on us. this is not how you treat paying customers who are simply looking for things to buy at a store with obviously no way to steal, again NO POCKETS BARELY CLOTHED. i’m returning everything i bought customer service never got back to me.

Paula is absolutely amazing! She’s so friendly, attentive, and truly listens to what I want. I always feel like I’m in great hands with her honest guidance and expert touch. She consistently does a beautiful job on my blonde hair — I leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed every time.
