My neurologist from the department of Stony Brook Neurology called in to have a prescription filled that I have been taking for 6+ years but completely denied the order due to the dose being too high? I get that you may have the right to deny filling a script because you feel as if you license maybe in jeopardy but to be rude about the situation to both my neurologist and his secretary is uncalled for! Seems to be an ongoing theme with this Walgreens just avoid the headache and waste of time.

This store has the nastiest restroom I’ve ever seen in of all places…a Pharmacy! It’s filthy for customers and even worse for staff. Staff deserve better conditions than this!

Patricia was extremely knowledgable, creative and patient in helping me to create and complete my poster collage project. i was only able to leave with a beautifully framed finished product because of her.
Thank you, Patricia❣️

The old blonde pharmacist does not care about patients. She refused to fill a script due to a misunderstanding months ago and didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. She is responsible if I go into a withdrawal and I will sue Walgreens.

the head pharmacist, I unfortunately did not get her name but she has blonde hair and a little older woman, just provided me with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. My boyfriend got his wisdom teeth removed so I brought the prescription to be filled and asked if there was any way to rush it. The technician said sure give us an hour. I waited 2 hours bc the hour happened to fall on their lunch break. When I went there and asked if it was ready bc I spent 20 minute on hold and no one ever answered and hung up. The rude pharmacist came over and said “yeah here’s the problem the doctors office poorly wrote the prescription and I just got off the phone with them so it’ll be another few hours” I said okay he is in severe pain so what are supposed to do in the mean time? We did call and waited on hold just to be hung up on. She got loud and said “well maam I’m the only person here so you’re going to have to figure it out and come back tonight” I said that’s unacceptable, someone should’ve notified us so we could’ve had the option of going somewhere else and your tone is not helping this situation. She laughed and said again, what do you want me to do, I’m the only one here. (There were 3 other technicians standing by her). As she continued telling me I’m the problem and need to figure it out, I asked her to please stop talking to me, fill the prescription, and allow me to pay for what was ready and leave. That lady needs some training in customer service!!!!!

Worst Walgreens in South Florida. Possibly all of Florida. Every single time I am there I witness garbage behavior from Staff as well as Management.
The most recent experience -
6/20/24
I stopped there this morning to get change, a few singles. I was met with “no we don’t give change”. I was shocked. After a few back and forths between us the final straw was when she said “we don’t give change we aren’t a bank”.
If you are Management reading this I would seriously consider holding a Store-wide meeting to discuss basic communication skills with customers and provide new Training for all of Management.
This store does a major disservice to the rest of the Walgreens that have positive respectful staff.

The pharmacists are beyond rude. Learn how to listen and speak to customers without attitude.

While I was in this location about an hour ago, I came across a random bottle of Essie nail polish in the toy aisle of all places! It was such a unique + cool color but at the same time I thought… do I really need another bottle of nail polish?! Nope! So I put it back + checked out!
Well, I couldn’t stop thinking about + could’ve kicked myself for not checking the name of it! I tried to find it through Google and the Essie website, with no luck! So I called Walgreens and got the nicest employee named NERLANDE on the phone…
NERLANDE went above + beyond for me by searching for the polish I could only describe as a “yellow Essie polish!” 😂 keep in mind Essie has several categories of nail polish… lacquered, chip resistant, gel, long, lasting… just to name a few AND the polish I was searching out, was all NOT where nail care items should have been!
Not only did NERLANDE find it for me, she literally spelled it out for me all the while she rang up the next customer at the register!! NERLANDE then ended the call with…
“it was my pleasure to help you, I will hold it up here by the register in case you decide to purchase it!” NERLANDE the proceeded to wish me… “a blessed and beautiful day!”
NERLANDE is an amazing person and a hard worker! I can only hope that Walgreens values and appreciates what an asset NERLANDE is for their company!

Horrible. Tried calling the pharmacy multiple times, someone picks up and immediately puts me on hold without saying a word. Multiple times. So rude and disrespectful. CVS it is.

Pharmacy staff was underwhelming. I avoid using this location whenever possible because there are only excuses and never solutions.

Worst service ever! Don’t sent your FedEx packages here. They always say it didn’t arrive so they don’t need to look for it. Lazy employees!

THE WORST! The pharmacy is really just the worst. Avoid it if you can. There's one woman in particular, don't know her name unfortunately, but she treats people like pure garbage, she's so rude and demeaning, she is absolutely in the wrong profession. You are dealing with people and their medication, furthermore there's a medication shortage which is making it really difficult for some people. You should try and have a little bit of compassion or empathy, but she has none and does not care one bit. I have heard her interactions with other people and know of people that do not go there anymore because of her and to be honest, I have no idea how no one has addressed this. If I was treating clients like that at my job, I would be unemployed. Try another pharmacy if you can.
