No advantage over Publix, none.

Worst Walmart I’ve ever been too! Dirty, messy, no prices on anything, rotten produce, and they don’t offer even ONE check out lane, the lady shooed everyone (literally swatted her hand) to go use the self check out ones. Empty dirty shelves, mold on the shelves in the empty milk freezer. So freaking gross, NO ONE is doing their job here at all! No sanitizer wipes, just a disgusting gross store. AWFUL!

This store is very poorly run. The outside front portion of the store is not clean at all. It is covered with cigarette butts, carts, and debris, and is nasty. A recent visit to this store showed the inside to be cluttered, dirty, and checkout lines were backed up. Even the self checkout lines were backed up, and other lanes just closed for no reason. This store is poorly managed and poorly run. I will be staying away from this neighborhood Walmart.

I live right across the street from this Walmart and have been going since it opened. The staff were friendly. You'd see "the regulars " and got to know them, but slowly they started to be replaced. As time went by, they switched to more and then almost all self check which I don't have a problem with. Except if you do need help, the girls walk over so slow, and they usually say nothing and act like I'm putting them out which is standing there. There are a couple girls I've known awhile and one man, they've been there awhile and very friendly. Although, if they do chat at the check out with you, one of the girls that watch over will scold them. That is SO WRONG. Also, the rehab centers come in and I think that is great fir them to get help, but Walmart will shut down all of the long self checks and use only the fast checks and the line runs around ..you can't get through. I guess they don't trust them but, shouldn't judge them fir being in rehab. Also, for awhile, about a year ago, they were on constant restock. Yes the aisles were blocked a bit, but they hustled to get stocked. And the stockers were polite. It got real bad for awhile. Prices are going up, but so is everywhere..sign of times. The produce looks like they are getting from the places that hand out free food..the produce may not look good, but it's OK. Im a farm girl. But, what I'm seeing now...some rotten fruit. There are some longterm employees...respect them. The kids running around " like they are working "...send them home. Make the place respectable. The younger staff that have a position of authority...teach them exactly what that means. They don't own the place or coworkers. They are really hard on nice employees that are hired and before long they are gone and I think it's to get friends or family in their spots. If their friendly TO CUSTOMERS keep them. I will no longer shop at a place that makes me feel lesser than them. There are 2 publixs and an Aldi 1 mile north and south, plus a trader Joe's and fresh market. Yes they are more expensive, and yes I will stop into Walmart now and then still, but I always stuck up for walmart...now I don't know. Check on the management.

When I asked someone to open a register because I had a lot of groceries, I was denied a register and cashier. They flat out said NO. So I Had to ring up and bag $180.00 worth of groceries myself. Terrible customer service!! I’m not a happy customer today.
Went into this store again on 8/22/2024, and received terrible customer service AGAIN! Rude people working at this location and the store is a mess. Terrible customer service. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice to customers! Do better!!

I did all the self check out and when paying with card the employee warned me: cash only. Why don't you put a warning on the machine??? She was very rude.

Horrible store. Open late. Close early. First few hours is total chaos because of lack of management and ignorant employees. Rude, inept customer service. Always difficult buying groceries here because they don't know how to program their self service registers

I'm sorry to have to write this because other experiences have been great especially with the pharmacy as I am a long time shopper of this store BUT today I went in the store for some early shopping. I had shopped there the night before and the price of limes were great .. just 5 cents .. I had just paid 10 cents at a competitor the previous day. Unfortunately I messed up the recipe and went in to buy more ingredients at twice the price. The sign on the limes were large and bold. So I bought 7. As I was checking out , they rang up at a quarter each. So in the past the customer service had always been good. But the "manager" in charge that helped stated "We can fix that and she ripped down the sign and asked an associate to fix the price" Again thinking they would be customer oriented I asked if they would honor the original price and she said so very rudely "NO they are 25 cents each. So uncalled for and unprofessional. The idea is to keep the customer not alienate them. I came home and tried the customer service 800 line asking for a call back .. The person I was dealing with in the store would not ID herself and said she was the manager on duty (6:30am Saturday morning) . SO I am waiting on a call back from customer Service or Store #02406 Manager Mr/Ms KIRILL

Staff stand around in the self checkout line on their phones. Oftentimes it takes a few mins to get assistance. The manager was very rude when I brought this up, claiming "it's the employees right to use their phone" and walked away from me. Absolutely ridiculous.
Limited selection but decent enough prices

Danella & Her Team at Delray Walmart (Store # 02406) were the BEST - THANK YOU
Today, 3/27/24, I visited the Walmart in Delray (Store # 02406) to purchase items for an event. I work for a government agency, so the first thing that came up was our tax exempt status. The employee at Customer Service was not 100% sure how to run this form and Danella stepped right up!
She helped input the form. She then rung up our items. When I went to use my purchasing card/work card, it didn’t work. It took 20 minutes on the phone with the card company to be told that they could not fix the issue from their end. I ended up having to purchase the items with a personal credit card. The whole time I was waiting and talking to the credit card company, Danella and her staff were super patient and Danella kept checking on us to see if we were ready. She was so sweet and patient and I really appreciated her kindness and understanding.
But the story isn’t done yet…..I went back to work, thinking that I could get a reimbursement on my personal card for the Walmart purchase and found out that they would only be able to give me a small amount in petty cash. So once again, I headed out to the Walmart in Delray. When I arrived, I went up to the Customer Service desk and noticed Danella was on her way out – her shift was done. Instead of leaving, Danella recognized me from earlier and stayed late to make sure everything was ok. I explained my situation to Danella and she called her colleague, Stephanie, and another very helpful Walmart employee over. Together, they all helped me solve my problem. The money was refunded to my personal card and after scanning the items, I was able to pay for them on my p card.
I was very impressed with all of these ladies and their exemplary customer service. I think that Danella and her staff deserve a big kudos for the time and effort they took with me today. They were amazing and assured me that everything was ok when I kept apologizing because I felt so bad for making them do the above.
Thank you so much Danella and team!!! I hope this review gets to you, as well as corporate! These ladies deserve a raise and some BIG recognition.
