I went in to go cash my IRA called prior to make sure I was gonna be charged a certain percentage got there went through the entire process only for her to tell me they’re going to be taking out double that amount. I asked to just cancel it and that’s when corporate didn’t wanna lose a paycheck and told her start negotiating with me to see pretty much what I was willing to pay when it states it on the paper I was being charged 4% and when she got called out, she had nothing else to say all they try to do is get the most out of your paycheck for themselves. Those price guides be very careful they were manipulate you to pay more and that little lady in the front with the piercings really needs to work on how she projects her passive, aggressive behavior

Here we go again I came here last month asking about an installment loan your advertising is false said nothing about transaction history which no one can give me a straight answer what they mean be that! Then I come in for a payday advance that they told me I was approved for 250.00 come in anytime you will be on file? So I did now I’m told oh we only do that for a week you have to fill out a new application but you need to get your recent pay stub with them being electronic you cannot do the code and it pops up the electronic checks are on the works data base? So rude it’s unbelievable here

The employees at this location are very rude, they talk to me with attitude every time that I go, the last time I was there the lady didn’t let me finish when I was talking about my payday for a loan, she confused me and then she gave me the wrong date to pay back, when I don’t get pay. Somebody should do something about it, they can’t not just being rude with everyone, this is a money store, everybody has problems and situations and the employees make the people feel bad.

So went there to cash a check , was not told how much it would be . Just told after all my information was taken how much I would get back. No choice. Will not be using them or referring them. Their prices are not the lowest either.

I’m a new small business/start up owner that deals in a lot of cash prior to getting my business account opened up with my bank went up there to get a couple of money orders to pay our vendors and started getting the third degree from the associate and then they refuse to give me the money orders it was three money orders totaling over $5000 to be split amongst them I was then placed on the list borrowing me from getting money orders at any western union until this is cleared up also I went in for a payday loan and they had me on a lock because they stated it was suspicious activity that I was trying to get money orders as they seem to be a little bit ridiculous and I will never do business with them Scott again

My husband and I went there to cash our stimulus check. And they told my husband he owed them money from 9 years ago. So they wouldn't cash our stimulus check. I could see if we were trying to get a loan. But they wanted him to make a payment before they would cash the check. . Do they understand what people are going through. Our home burned down last year. And they want us to give them money before they can cash our check that comes from the government. Times are hard and people need their money. I hope they change this in the policy in the near future.

For years my I’ve been dealing with Angela at this location. Each time she was very rude. Not only to my but my husband. Today she was asking to see my bank statement!! Are you serious? I then stated I never had to give a bank statement. then she decided to say there is another form to complete and I still need to see your current bank statement , do you have online banking? I said yes she said let me see it. I then asked when did they start this let me see that in writing. She said it was a new procedure they stated from installments. I don’t even know what she was referring to until she explained. I think told her I was going to call corporate and to give me my I’d back.Her being the “manager” she treated me clime I was a criminal. And she was very unprofessional. I don’t deserve to be mistreated in any way by anyone and brighter does anyone else. I called her corporate and made a complaint.These companies need to start showing their customers more respect. You have people like me that always look for good customer service. I hope this helps the next person. Please speak up when you are being mistreated.

Needed to fax simple 4 page document. Made me wait 20 minutes before telling me they did not receive confirmation. Then waited another 15 minutes before attempting to resend fax. Dont go here, go to UPS or somewhere else

Sent my check in to my bank despite me calling them for an extension. Said there were no notes on the account. Put a stop payment on the check and called their corporate office. Thought I had worked it out with them. I was wrong. Received a call a few days later asking for a payment with a penalty. Had to remind them again of our arrangement, and then they “remembered”. Went on Friday to make payment and AGAIN tried to hit me with the penalty. Associate called manager over and she pretended to “show” the associate where the note was on my account to waive penalty. Poor associate made a face like “what the heck are you talking about” These people are flat out liars and they do not notate your account. Three times for one transaction, no notation. It’s sad, I had used this location for years, now if I need assistance I have to drive across town to Advance America. Amscot has lost my business forever.

The Agents there are very rude. I was trying to explain a situation regarding "Western Union". I spoke with "James". I started telling him my story involving my elderly friend in Texas,( I'm in Deltona) & he cut me off right in the middle of story & put me on hold! Or should I say "Ignore". So after a long wait I hung up! - Then another agent, female, I tried to cash a $25 money order. I tried my bank 1st, but didn't have enough to cover it in my account, the teller wrote my account # on back of m/o. Well the Amscot agent wouldn't cash it because of that! And she was also rude about the situation also. Don't know what is wrong with "Amscot Employees"? Maybe they don't pay them well enough? I notice they stand up their entire shift, maybe leg cramps? Who knows? If you don't like your job, quit! Their are plenty of "HAPPY" people out there who are looking for work!!

Terrible location. Guy at counter decided to have to call home officer and waste my time for an half an hour just to decline my $400 refund check from Bank of America. No where in the store said they only cash checks within 30 days. This is why this place just breeds trashy people
